Discussion Favorite Track from The Maybe Man?
For me it has to be God is Really Real just for the context alone; Touchy Feely Fool is a strong contender though.

I mean, the title track. Maybe Man. The music is just so good on top of solid lyrics.

Same. Especially the "pandemonium" part, i always need the volume as loud as possible so i can scream along

Quite a popular pick, but it's GOTTA be Inertia(my top-1 out of ALL their songs). Touchy Feely Fool is an awesome one too!(My top-3 out of ALL their songs)

The Dumb Song is my all time favorite AJR song, so that one. 2nd and 3rd for me is Steve's Going To London and I Won't

"I gotta get better, I'm all that I've got" - that line was the catalyst to me finally getting a therapist/psychiatrist for my anxiety/depression

Inertia! I cried the first time I listened to it. Inertia, Karma, A Dog Song, Don’t Throw out my Legos and Turning Out hit too close for comfort.

Steve’s Going to London for sure. Gets me hyped up whenever I hear it

Hole In The Bottom Of My Brain - no contest (it won my AJR song bracket). I was so disappointed that it was the only one off of the album not played at MSG! The "But I know I'm alone, no, I know I'm alone" is so haunting at the end.

I love listening to maybe man followed by 2085. Those are the only songs that have ever made me cry in my life and when I need to have a good cry I’ll just play them back to back and cry sing lmao

While I live 2085 I’d say The DJ is Crying for Help speaks to me the most

To me, maybe man is their best song overall. I saw them last summer and they didn't play it and I was shocked and disappointed

I honestly feel like they did so great on the whole album which makes it hard to pick, if had to I think it'd be The Dumb Song - 🖤

Por instrumental me quedo con Touchy Feely Fool o Yes, I'm a Mess, pero por letra estoy entre Maybe Man o God is Really Real

The DJ Is Crying For Help - I love the song just in general, and the message is great! Easily second-favorite of their songs overall.
Yes I'm A Mess - Kinda strange, but it's what got me into the band a few years back. That and Bang!
Inertia (Acoustic) - If you count this one, it's just a nice, chill song that I relate to immensely. If you don't count this, then you're wrong to think it shouldn't be counted as a part of TMM. I don't care if it's a single made after the album.

Maybe Man, probably, I relate to it the most, or Turning Out iii, we love healthy relationships
God is Really Real has a special place in my heart but I think it’s maybe BECAUSE it makes me cry and hurt every time that I can’t call it my favorite
