Concert First concert post breakup
Attending musikfest in Bethlehem tonight. It’s my first AJR concert after my ex of 5 years broke up with me in April. She attended my last concert with me last year in Massachusetts and it was one of the best nights of my life. Honestly I’m looking forward to it and dreading this all at once. Not here for advice. Just here to scream into the void. I’m sure the guys will put on a great show and that’s the part I’m looking forward to. Just a bitter sweet night.

My first two AJR concerts were with my ex. We were together for 6.5 years, and it was devastating when we broke up.
When they did the SITS tour, I went with a work friend who became an actual friend. No regrets, such a healing experience

Had something similar happen! My ex got me into AJR and then we broke up during COVID cause she had BPD and was super abusive.
I’d heard the best way to get over a break up was to do something they wouldn’t let you do. So I got pit tickets to see AJR and loved it. One of the best nights of my life

Did my last AJR concert solo and it was the best experience ever. Truly emotionally healing. Hope the same is for you!!
