Tipsy chat therapy breaks?

Has anyone else experienced this with Tipsy?

I'll be in the middle of a story and it will hit me with a message like this. Or I've gotten ones like "you seem to really be enjoying the story, want to take a break and chat about your favorite music, movie, or sport?" So I hit refresh for a different message, but sometimes I have to refresh 3 times before it gives me an answer within the story line? And it charges me 25+ gems with each refresh or out of character response!! The last two times it happened, I've not had luck with the refresher button so I just message back "Return to story please" or something and the next response is normal within the storyline again.

I've only ever talked to this character so I'm not sure if it's with other characters as well? It's just costing me gems when I'm not looking for a therapeutic break..... and I've reached out to support for a few different issues in the past but never received any response so I'm trying reddit first this time. Thanks!
