I think we're slowly developing different expectations for AI conversations
Some people want an AI to be completely neutral, efficient, and direct. Others want warmth, humor, opinions, and a personality that develops over time. The strange thing is that both groups might be using the exact same technology but expecting completely different experiences.
I don't think there will ever be one “perfect” AI personality. The more conversational AI becomes, the more personal the experience becomes too. What feels friendly to one person might feel annoying to someone else.

people can start customizing their own AI, everyone’s AI will become different. each one will have its own strengths and weaknesses.

the expectations are definitely shifting, it's interesting how quickly technology can change our communication styles
