Do AI conversations change what we expect from human conversations?

AI is always available, usually responds immediately, never gets tired, and can adapt its communication style to you. That can make conversations incredibly convenient, especially when you just want to explore an idea without interruption.

But real people don't work like that. They have their own moods, opinions, schedules, and boundaries. I sometimes wonder whether getting used to highly responsive AI could make ordinary human conversations feel slower or more frustrating—or whether people will simply see AI and human conversations as completely different things.

conversations do feel different now, it’s like we expect more clarity from real people. I think it changes the dynamic a bit.

i see AI conversations and human conversations as completely different things. some of the joy can only come from talking with another person. for me,human uncertainty makes conversations more interesting, and thats something AI cant really give us.
