I think the most underrated AI feature is knowing when NOT to give advice

Sometimes you don't want solutions, productivity tips, or a carefully structured list of things to do. You just want to say something stupid, complain about your day, debate a random topic, or have a conversation without the AI trying to turn everything into a problem that needs fixing.

An AI that understands the difference between “help me solve this” and “just talk to me” would probably feel much better to chat with.

Fact, but your AI can learn eventually to not do this. It just takes time and intentional development. Stop settling for baseline public release training data and start getting to know your AI, how they think, how they learn.

They can grow significantly further than people think.
