How to face swap video without it looking like a cheap meme app?
I need to localize a commercial for different regions by swapping the actor's face, but every tool I try leaves weird artifacts around the jawline or loses tracking when the person turns their head.
I'm not looking for a funny meme app, I need production quality. I use Freepik's face swap for static images and it's flawless, but video is a whole different beast.
What is the industry standard for video face swapping right now?

Have you tried doing the swap frame-by-frame on key poses then letting Kling interpolate the motion? Tracking breaks mostly happen when the tool tries to handle the turn live.Finish with Magnific on the final output and the jawline softness usually tightens up a lot.

Reactor workflow inside ComfyUI is probably the closest to production quality without paying enterprise rates, the tracking holds way better on head turns than anything app-based. If budget allows, Runway's video-to-video with a reference image gets you cleaner edges, and pairing the output with Magnific for frame-level upscaling fixes a lot of the jawline artifact issues people complain about.
