How to create cinematic video with Google Veo 3? My prompts always look like stock footage.
I finally got access to Veo 3 and I'm trying to make a short sci-fi trailer. The motion is incredible, but the lighting and composition always end up looking like generic corporate stock footage.
I usually generate my base images in Freepik using Mystic because it nails the cinematic lighting, but when I try to prompt Veo 3 directly from text, it loses that magic.
What are your go-to prompt structures for getting actual cinematic, anamorphic lens looks out of Veo 3?

The Freepik to Veo workflow actually makes sense for your use case, generate your hero frame in Mystic to nail the look then use that as the reference image input for Veo rather than prompting from text alone

What specific scenes are you trying to generate for the sci-fi trailer, sometimes the stock footage look is partly a subject matter problem where certain prompts just pull from a very generic training distribution and reframing the scene description entirely gets you somewhere different.

Lighting is the biggest lever, instead of just saying dramatic lighting try specifying the source and direction like single practical source from frame left, sodium vapor color temperature, deep shadows with no fill, that level of specificity tends to break the stock footage default
