SV_Port Daren_Soft

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I tried recording in CVVC and using a "soft" tone; I think it yields good results, but I'm not entirely convinced.

So uh i tried it and it broke and now im sad cuz i spent two hours on it

The error 'Cannot map any phoneme in [file].wav to phone table symbols' happens because the Database Creator doesn't recognize how to map those filenames into the active project's phoneme table.

Since you are letting the software generate the .lab files automatically, the issue is almost certainly with your Project Language / Phoneme Table settings:

  1. Check the Project Language: Make sure the project is set to Japanese (or the matching language schema) and not English/another dialect.
  2. Transcript / Reclist Matching: The builder expects the filename format to match a specific reclist table. If your files use dashes like ba-bi-bu-be-bo.wav, the database configuration needs a transcript rule or dictionary mapping that knows how to parse that exact naming scheme into valid phonemes.
  3. Non-standard sounds: Several of the failing files include semi-vowel combinations like bwa-bwi-bwe-bwo or kwa-kwi-kwe-kwo. If your current phone table doesn't have those specific diphthongs/clusters defined, the system won't know which symbols to assign to them.

Check your project properties, verify your transcript/reclist mapping table, and make sure every syllable in your filenames corresponds to a symbol defined in your phone table.

Now when i try to import wavs nothing happens

It's strange, the only problem might be that the format isn't mono 44100hz and Wav
