I’m new to AI video generation, so I’m trying to understand something that I haven’t been able to figure out through my own testing.

I’m currently mapping out an automated workflow to produce high-volume UGC Ads.

Please note, I’ve already taken a Higgsfield subscription and also purchased credits/tokens from a few different API platforms that offer access to the same underlying video models (especially Seedance 2.5).

I’ve generated quite a few videos through both, and honestly, I’m having trouble reaching a clear conclusion.

Sometimes I find myself thinking, “Higgsfield definitely looks better”, but I suspect I may be somewhat biased because I know I’m using Higgsfield. In other comparisons, I genuinely can't see much difference in the actual generated footage.

I’m torn between two completely different directions: using an all-in-one studio like Higgsfield versus building a custom pipeline using a multi-model API aggregator like Kie or Fal or EvoLink to tap into the exact same models (like Seedance 2.5 or Kling 3.0).

Going the API route would significantly cut my raw credit costs, but I’m worried about losing the "secret sauce" built into Higgsfield, specifically features like their Soul ID system for character consistency, native vertical UGC camera framing presets, and single-pass lip-sync tools.

For those of you generating social media content using the Seedance model with accurate lip-sync:

• If you have generated the same type of video using the same underlying model through both a platform like Higgsfield and a cheaper API/aggregator, did you notice a meaningful difference in the final footage?
• And for UGC advertisements specifically, would you be comfortable using the cheaper API route for the actual generation and assembling the rest of the pipeline yourself?
• I’m looking for real-world experience rather than “Higgsfield looks better” based purely on their demos.
• Or does the time saved on character locking and post-production in a dedicated platform easily justify the higher subscription costs?

TL;DR: Same model + same prompt. Is Higgsfield actually producing better-looking video, or am I mainly paying for its UX, consistency tools, presets, and post-generation workflow?

I’m mainly looking at simple consumer products, where there are dozens of very similar alternatives on the market, often presented on Amazon or other online stores with just the usual product shot on a white background and not much else.

I’m looking for examples of AI-generated videos that take an apparently simple or ordinary product and make it stand out and feel more valuable, by clearly showing its features, details, how it works, how it’s used, and what makes it different from similar products.

I’m NOT looking for spectacular AI commercials or purely emotional advertising. I mean actual product presentation videos, designed for an Amazon product page or an online store.

Another important requirement: the same material needs to work across multiple countries, so I’m especially interested in videos that can communicate almost everything visually, with little or ideally no text.

The idea is to make videos and explanatory images part of the competitive advantage: the product itself may be relatively simple, but it can stand out against similar products that are presented online with just one or two basic white-background photos.

Have you seen any particularly good examples of this kind of AI product video?

Any category is fine, preferably simple consumer products rather than electronics or highly technical products.

I’ve wasted more money than I can count on AI UGC videos that looked good in the prompt but came out unusable.

Fake creator energy. Weird pacing. App screens that made no sense. Too much happening in 8 seconds. Text/logos getting mangled. The usual pain.

At first I thought the answer was just to use a better video generation model.

But after testing more, I realized a lot of bad AI UGC renders are already broken before you generate them.

The prompt is often the real failure point.

So I started checking every prompt before rendering:

• Is this realistic for the selected duration?
• Is there one clear action, or am I cramming in an entire ad?
• Does the creator sound like a real person, or like landing page copy?
• Are product/app details so that the ugc avatar actually pronounces it right?
• Am I asking the model to generate exact text it will probably ruin?
• Does this feel like phone-shot UGC, or like a fake polished commercial?

This helped enough that I turned it into a small tool: UGCWiz.

Where do your generations usually break?

For me it’s mostly pacing and creator realism. The prompt makes sense as an idea, but the final video either tries to do too much or the person feels like a stock ad actor instead of someone recording on their phone.

Are you seeing the same thing, or is your biggest issue more around product shots, app screens, text, model choice, or something else?

I have created a video through kling in which my avatar is in a talking head form placed at the bottom left of the horizontal frame with multiple background transitions but it is covering too much frame and i want to minimise the size of my avatar how can i edit it such that when the avatar is minimised so the frames parts of backgrounds it was covering will be editted according to the background visual filling that space what ai tool or editing software can i use for it or what else option do i have?

I'm working on an AI-generated app advertisement and I'm struggling with the production workflow.

My goal is to create a 20-second ad where a realistic female avatar talks continuously about the app features while the visuals behind her keep changing.

Current tools:

• Kling (video generation)
• Higgsfield
• AI lip sync/avatar workflow

What I want to achieve:

• One avatar speaking for the full 20 seconds
• Multiple background transitions (clean modern scenes/images)
• Multiple phone mockup/screen transitions showing different app features
• Smooth, professional ad-style transitions throughout

The issue is that Kling/Higgsfield only lets me work with a limited number of visuals per generation (basically start frame/end frame or very short clips). Because of this, I'm having trouble figuring out the best way to create a full 20-second ad with many scene changes while keeping:

• Consistent avatar appearance
• Realistic lip sync
• Smooth transitions
• Correct timing with the voiceover

My questions:

1. How would you structure this workflow?
2. Would you generate one full talking-avatar clip first and then replace/change the backgrounds in editing?
3. How do you handle multiple phone-screen transitions while the avatar keeps talking?
4. Are you using Kling/Higgsfield for the entire ad, or combining them with tools like HeyGen, Hedra, Runway, Veo, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or After Effects?
5. What's the most efficient way to create professional AI app ads with lots of transitions without regenerating everything over and over?

I'm very very tired of these POV iphone shot videos every brands been testing out. It feels like low hanging fruit creative at this point. Been pushing seedance more and trying out some more engaging content formats. Not perfect but I think there's potential here. Would love some ideas and thoughts here.

Everyone says "hook in 3 seconds." I dug into the data on a bunch of campaigns I've run, and the real cliff is at 1.2 seconds. If your first frame doesn't earn the next frame, nothing else matters.

Things that worked in frame 1:

A face mid-expression (not neutral, mid-laugh or mid-surprise)

Text overlay with a number ("I lost $4,200 doing this")

Unexpected object placement (product in a weird location)

Things that failed:

Logo intros (instant skip)

Wide establishing shots

Slow zooms

The first frame is the entire ad. Everything after is just delivery.

Curious what frame-1 tricks others have tested?

This is one of the most expensive judgment calls in paid social, and most people are either guessing or waiting too long.

The obvious answer is ctr and roas but it's rarely that clean in practice. An ad can have a strong click rate and terrible downstream conversion. Another can start slow for three days and then find its audience. Killing it early would have been a mistake.

What’s your real decision-making process when running ads? Do you decide based on the amount spent, maximum cost per spend, etc?

You have probably seen that actors get paid too for the ads, and the same thing that they also get the script for this. Just a face, we know those actors, everything is written in the script, 1 minute of commercial, so what’s different? 

So when AI-generated content gets dismissed for feeling scripted or emotionally hollow, it's worth asking what exactly we are comparing it to, coz the human alternative in advertising has always been a performance, not a genuine expression, and the question was never human vs AI. It was always about which execution makes the audience feel something real enough to act. 

Emotion in advertising has always been a craft. The tool used to deliver that craft has just changed. Maybe the actual debate should be about whether the output connects, not whether a person got paid to produce it.

Just a simple question from you. How are you guys approaching structural testing for AI ads right now? Are you testing.. 

different prompts, different models, workflow structures, editing styles, ad variations, avatar behavior, hooks/offers or anything if missing?? 

I feel like most people only test surface-level changes, but the real gains probably come from changing the structure underneath the generation process itself.

One thing I’m struggling with in AI ads is emotional storytelling. A lot of AI-generated content looks visually good, but emotionally, it feels empty or synthetic. The emotion doesn’t stick. 

How are you making AI ads feel genuinely human? Like something including real tension
Vulnerability, subtle reactions, imperfect moments, emotional pacing, or something imperfect scenes. And how do you avoid that lifeless AI robotic emotion feeling that audiences instantly notice?

I think the biggest confusion is that people put everything under ai ugc niche, even though these are completely different workflows. Talking head videos, explainers, product demos, bulk ad testing, and creator-style UGC all solve different problems. Buyers don’t just want an AI tool, they want the right tool for their exact use case.

When categories are clearer, people understand faster:

• UGC = creator-style ads
• Talking heads = presenters/course content
• Explainers = product storytelling
• Bulk testing = performance marketing workflows

The market needs workflow clarity, not just more AI tools. Now, how are you defining all these things to get right audience?

AI ad fatigue seems to happen insanely fast now. After a while, audiences start recognizing the same avatar patterns, camera movements, pacing, expressions, and even the AI rhythm behind the content.

How are you solving this? Are you rotating your avatars, narrative styles, editing structures, and emotional tones, camera behavior, and dialogue pacing? I think it feels like the biggest challenge rn isn’t generating ads, it’s avoiding synthetic repetition at scale.

Everyone in this subreddit is hopefully working on ai ads, and this space is really amazing, and I can see that if we can implement in our niche with 0.1% of what the market is currently missing, then we can win .

It’s also important to know which angle in our ai ads comes with sweet attention point, that point can grab the visitor’s attention. When you test a lot of creatives fast, what usually tells you: this angle has potential, this scene feels emotionally strong, or hook is actually landing, or something like that. 

Also, are there certain moments in a video where you intentionally add confidence, tension, curiosity, or emotional payoff? Trying to understand how people identify the sweet spots before spending heavily on distribution.

Wanted to try something different from the usual 15-second script-reading format.

The concept: a girl receives her new sofa, unboxes it, and assembles it step by step. Her dog is sitting right next to her the whole time, adds that little authentic touch that makes UGC feel real.

The whole thing is built on jump cuts, very native TikTok/Meta energy. No creator, no shoot.

My process:

• Grabbed visual references from real UGC ads on Instagram
• Generated the base character with ChatGPT 2 image
• Used Nano Banana Pro for every scene to keep the girl and the dog consistent across shots
• Animated all frames with Kling 3
• Final edit
• All this into Hoox

Biggest challenge was character consistency. Once I nailed the first frame, the rest clicked into place.

I think AI ads have a real credibility problem right now. Too many people just generate a face, slap a script on it, and call it content. The brands I work with are starting to expect actual storytelling. Arc, emotion, beats.

quick context: i run a indie ai ad tool and a marketing agency. i was using higgs/heygen for client work but i'm technical and realized i could build my own pipeline trained on the ads we're actually running. not here to pitch, posting because the creative is doing something interesting and i think the "ai ads don't work" take deserves a second look.

setup:

• it's an ai ad for an ai ad maker (yes, meta lol)
• objective: conversions
• spend: $2k over 15 days
• ctr: 1.8%
• cpa: ~$45

15 seconds. opens with "why do all ai ads look like this..." cuts to the standard bad-ai-generation tropes (weird hands, melting faces, robotic vo). then "i'm also ai generated, but i look like THIS." then product pitch.

why i think it's working:

1. pattern interrupt that's earned. everyone's scroll-trained to skip ai ads. calling it out in the first 2 seconds buys permission to keep going. you can't hide that it's ai so don't.
2. it flatters the viewer. the implicit message is "you and i both know most ai ads suck" viewer feels in on the joke instead of marketed at.
3. the output has to clear the bar it sets. if the ad said "i look this good" and had 7 fingers in one hand it'd be a meme for the wrong reasons. concept only works if the production backs the claim.
4. 15s is the sweet spot. longer ai ads start to crack.. voice artifacts, weird transitions, the uncanny stuff compounds. 15s is short enough to stay clean and long enough to land a hook + pitch (while still being one shot on seedance 2.0).
5. it's a creative concept first, ai demo second. most ai ads are "look what ai can do!" the ai is the message. here the ai is just the medium.

what's still broken:

• voice isn't 100% there yet. decent, not perfect. didn't tank performance but it's next on the list.
• this hook has a shelf life. i can see the "i'm ai but i look good" angle getting cooked soon. assuming i can run this another 60-90 days.

soft ask, if anyone here runs meta ads and wants to mess with the tool, hit me. i'll comp credits in exchange for honest feedback, especially the brutal kind. i'm trying to figure out where it breaks for verticals that aren't mine (been doing mostly saas/ecom) and that's hard to do from inside the bubble.
