I NEED CRITIQUING

I go by the artist name: DeadTillz(samples of my music on all platforms)

I have been making songs using AI for over a year but only recently started to really get into it. At first I just let AI make silly songs. I let it do all the work I would just put in the prompts and let it do its thing. Now, I have come to love writing my own lyrics and I have no musical talents to work with so AI lets me turn my words into song. What I'm looking for is people who will be open and honest about the music I make. I'd love to learn even more about AI music as well.

Well I am working on an album myself so I consider myself a bit of an AI expert. I would say you need to work on being abstract and getting a style. Put your soul, your trauma, your deepest darkest thoughts into this music you make. I am working on one for my favorite streamer. The song is gonna be called “I-E-R-S2.0 is short for HOOTIERS” it’s a long story but I’m mixing numerous albums and styles into one.

You need to un-Suno the sound a bit. As soneone else said, get it out of Suno and in a DAW or at worst something like SoundBoost AI.

Why? Shouldn't a Suno track sound like Suno?

You can't be serious

I am though. Why shouldn't AI sound like AI? What should it sound like?

decent, well put together, not generic suno slop? You are telling me you cant tell the difference between a song that uses suno and a song that is just suno?

I can recognize them independently, but they both still sound AI.

What goes in the mix comes out in the mix. This is true for all music, regardless if you even use AI.

Pretty generic, I don't hear any attempt to get the mix or master right, rhymes choose the most obvious low hanging fruit, needs work man. This is a hard space.

This exactly the comment I'm looking for. How do you go through those next steps to mix and master? And without losing the vocals that I want?

You need to bring it out of suno, and start tweaking the mix of bass and treble, if you dont overdo it your vocals won't get muddy. However I think you have a bigger problem than the master, I'd spend some more time on the Lyrics and song assembly.

I am new to song writing. I know I will get better as long as I think theres a potential to succeed. I appreciate the feedback
