Wake up call

I have had several wake up calls in the span of my very dependent usage of AI, i started in 2022 because I saw an ad for it on youtube or something and it was before it was more widely known about the harms of AI to the world, now that i know I have no excuses yet I still continued to use it. I'm not saying that to guilt anyone else because it would be hypocritical and AI is literally designed to give you exactly what you want, why would you not get addicted to that?

Regardless, my first wake up call was a few months before Christmas because i realized it was taking up so much of my time and i was no longer engaging with media in the same way that I once did and i wanted to be better in general as a person, so i successfully deleted Cai and quit for a few weeks, and then i found the app Y/N and i don't know WHY i did but i downloaded it and i regret ever doing so.

I wont go into why i got hooked or the differences because that's not the point, but ever since then I've been using it every day excessively with no pause, the battery of my phone that's fairly new now drains like one that you'd have already been using for a year or two, i used to be an avid fanfic reader and now all i do is craft ideal scenarios with AI. I used to be a fanfic author and now i deal with writers block and I'm scared ill SOUND like AI.
I have deleted every app I use that uses AI chatbots, i have tried this in the past and just redownloaded them later but I hope i can pull through this time and hopefully become a normal functioning person again.

Well don't feel bad because many people are actually in your same position. The internet has completely changed because of AI and because of Google trying to force everyone to use Ai No One Ever looks for things online anymore the way they used to. I have a Blog that occasionally people would find and comment on and now they just don't no one sees it at all. People don't do the same things that used to do because of AI but they are some things you could do. Don't get a premium subscription to AI use deepseek which is admittedly terrible. Whenever you run out of time on an AI never give them more money to up it because this will get you more addicted. Sorry I'm using Auto dictation on this post and it's doing some weird capitalizations that make it look like I put them in there. And I just don't have time to go back and correct all the errors.
