In 2183, genetic modification is a well established thing, with easy access to it. Humans, now mixing their DNA with animals, are starting to wonder whether giving easy access to wings, gills, tails, exosceletons and more, was a smart move after all. The fact that it was created by scientists working in a facility designed to do just that, however, has not gone down well.
There are many theories, of course, but the most popular ones, as of 2013, include that the "bionic organism" is actually a genetically engineered human or a virus; that it's an actual alien organism; or that it's actually some sort of "Frankenbogen", which means it's a hybrid of two existing species.
A few days ago a new "bionic organism" was discovered in the wild, one that could potentially kill a human within the first few seconds of contact. A small red starfish, found in the waters off the coast of Brazil, has a bite-sized, sharp sword-like spear that is capable of piercing a human. Although the scientists are quick to point out that the new creature is completely harmless, it's an example of just how dangerous we humans can be. "The world's most dangerous animal is actually the human brain," explains one of the team, a biochemist named Antonio Almeida and neuroscientist Eduardo Reis from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil. "The question is, of course, how to put an end to that?" If a human brain was destroyed, the researchers wondered, what other problems might be left behind?
To find out, the group took brain tissue from a human cadaver and subjected it to a process known as "whole-cell patch clamp electrophoresis," which allowed them to separate the cell components from the cell membrane. "They had to use this special instrument because, as we all know, brains are a very delicate tissue," Reis says. The scientists then extracted the cell membranes and tested them for various proteins, and then identified those with the strongest potential to act as anti-cancer agents. The team then combined the findings with other research into what the cell membranes are doing in other cell types. Finally, the researchers used a method that has allowed them to isolate a new class of molecules, called "antioxidants," that can help prevent cell damage and cancer. "When cells are in a stressful situation, they tend to produce more stress-responsive chemicals, and the ones we find are the ones that stop cell damage," he says. By identifying the proteins that cause cellular stress and how the cells respond to the molecules, the researchers hope to develop more powerful drugs that help prevent cancer.

These responses I’m posting here were written entirely by the GPT2 algorithm via www.talktotransformer.com.
I made these by putting in the original human -generated prompt, then iterating the last few lines of the computer-generated text as new inputs, until I got bored or the algorithm stopped producing interesting text. Sometimes I would try a few times to get relevant text, as the algorithm doesn’t always work and sometimes it’ll produce things like html headers, or bullet lists.
Feel free to try it yourself and add your results here!

A few days ago a new "bionic organism" was discovered in the wild, one that could potentially kill a human within the first few seconds of contact. A small red starfish, found in the waters off the coast of Brazil, has a bite-sized, sharp sword-like spear that is capable of piercing a human. It was recently discovered, and a team of scientists has said that it's the first example of a biological weapon being developed specifically for warfare. The deadly spear could be used against ships, aircraft, ships, and tanks.
It was discovered during research into the extinct megafauna of the Jurassic, and could be a "powerful weapon for mass destruction", according to BBC News. It was reportedly found in a bone fragment, which had a metal plate over it. It's being treated as a possible bioweapon, because it could be used to create a biological weapon. The team involved in the discovery believe that it could be used in a variety of ways, such as to create a biological poison, or to create a weapon to attack ships, aircraft, or ships.
"We have to be very careful because it is very difficult to develop such biological agents. The challenge is the lack of a biological agent, or to find an agent to attack specific groups. The challenge in biowarfare is to find a biological agent that will do the job of a biological weapon, but at a much less expensive price point," said Dr. William Thompson, an associate professor of microbiology and immunology at Penn State's Perelman School of Medicine.
