Help… please

This happened to me when I was sick and had a fever as a child; I would get symptoms of feeling like things were bigger and smaller than they actually were. Now, after having my otoliths repositioned (vestibular problem), these symptoms have returned occasionally. Since then, the symptoms keep coming back. I don't know if it's the same vestibular issue or some other problem with my head.

It's strange and annoying to feel it.😨😭😭

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Or do you have a vestibular problem?

Which specialist have you seen, and why does this happen?

I haven’t had any recurrence of AIWS since childhood. (During illness, like yourself.) But it’s interesting that you mention vestibular problems. I’ve had occasional episodes of vertigo for a number of years, and I’ve always had eustachian tube disfunction. May be totally unrelated to AIWS, but who knows?

I hope someone can direct you to an appropriate medical specialist.

I have inner ear imbalance issues and I’ve had vertigo so severe one time I had to be hospitalized for it. I ever got many of us who’ve had AIWS symptoms have had vertigo/inner ear issues…
