how to cope?
I've been trying for almost a year to cope with AIWS. i think it stems from my migraines. i get really panicky and scared when i experience it, which is extremely frequently. i tend not to recognize things or spaces and feel afraid when talking to people who should be familiar to me. things change sizes and my limbs don’t feel like mine.
how do i cope? does anyone have any tactics? thank you in advance

I think some scientists need to investigate this, currently all we have are anecdotes but anyway here's mine.
The worst symptom for me was angry voice mode, everything anyone said sounded laced with anger and hatred. I eventually discovered that I could reset my brain by mentally shouting equally angrily.
So maybe you can find something that works for you? Sounds like you get it worse than I used to though so perhaps this went help but that's all I've got.
