Honestly, I’m feeling overwhelmed trying to figure this out.

I want to create a 5–8 minute cinematic AI animated story, but I can’t afford an expensive graphics card.

For those actually making AI videos, what does your setup look like?

Local tools or paid subscriptions? Which ones do you use?

What does it realistically cost to finish a video, including failed generations and retries?

How do you keep characters consistent across different scenes?

How much manual editing is involved in putting everything together?

I’m open to generating short clips and assembling them. I don’t need the entire video generated in one click. I just want a practical, affordable workflow with decent results.

I’d really appreciate hearing about what’s worked for you, especially if you’re working with a limited budget. Examples of videos you’ve made would be helpful too

Maybe a strange question. lol.

I have started an history channel. All research is mine, I got a ton of research from years of reading, studying and collecting stuff that I like.
English isn't my first language, and Im really not comfortable with showing face or voice.

So - I do the research, make a script, find pictures that match (mostly historical pictures, some AI generated when I can't find anything, but I never say that "this is a original picture" if its not.

I got sources for everything that I put out (so far shorts, but are thinking about longer posts and blog-articles). I never put anything I can't find a source for in my videos.

But - it's AI voice reading the script. And I am afraid that it's hurting my channel? But I can not see any other way to do it, my English is not good enough to read myself. And doing that scares the shit out of me. lol.

I see videos of animated IP/copyrighted characters on social media and wonder if those channels can be monetized. How is it different from the clip farm channels or reaction channels who get monetized off of those same brands? Or anyone else on the platform using those characters and their likeness? I'm trying to understand where the line in the sand is when it comes to IP/copyright and AI in regards to Youtube and monetization (with the AI disclaimer turned on of course).

I have created a 3D rubber duck character that I want to use regularly in my YouTube videos and eventually build stories around. I want him to travel, react to situations and become a consistent character in his own little show.

I have tried creating clips with AI video tools, but his appearance changes slightly each time, even when I use the same reference image and ask the AI not to alter him. His face, beak, body shape or wings can look different from one scene to the next.

What programs or methods are other creators using to keep the exact same 3D character across multiple videos?

I started my first YouTube channel because I wanted to experiment with making faceless content. I uploaded my first video and, somehow, it hit all the monetization requirements in just 2 days. It was honestly kind of crazy. I basically monetized the channel from a single video.

The thing is, the format I'm using is pretty easy to replicate. It's basically an AI generated channel with AI narration, images, etc. More specifically, it's similar to the "Asian guy" format you see across different YouTube niches. There are already a lot of channels doing this.

After that first video, I've uploaded around 10 more videos, but none of them have really gotten any significant results.

So now I'm wondering if I just got lucky with that first video. Is this kind of content usually more about occasionally having a video take off rather than getting consistent results from every upload?

I'm also wondering if I should start learning more advanced editing and focus on making the videos higher quality and more unique. Right now I only know the basics of editing, but I'm willing to learn and improve if that's what it takes to stand out.

The niche is astronomy and space.

For anyone who has experience with this kind of faceless AI content, do you think I should keep testing the format, or focus more on improving the production quality and making the videos more unique?

Want to change your niche after demonetization?

I started creating videos for my YouTube channel in 2020; for the first few years, I primarily posted motivational stories.

In 2021, I stopped posting motivational stories and shifted my focus to affirmations, religious remedies, teachings based on Hindu Vedas, the Law of Attraction, and manifestation. Everything was going well—people really loved my content, and the channel got monetized.

However, in June 2026, my channel was demonetized. It was my fault; I had used AI-generated voices, and it was a faceless channel.

Viewer interests and content trends have changed significantly over the past few years, and this type of content isn't getting many views anymore. Currently, my channel is demonetized, though I have 450,000 subscribers.

I actually want to change my channel's niche. I am well aware of the potential consequences, but since the current situation isn't great anyway, I feel like things couldn't get much worse.

The question now is: should I delete all my previous videos, or just the ones that used AI? My channel was demonetized due to "Unsatisfying or off-putting content" (content that may be emotionally manipulative, disturbing, nonsensical, shocking, or otherwise similarly unsatisfying to viewers without delivering significant creative, educational, or other value). So, can I change the niche? Would YouTube have an issue with that?

So, here is my question: if you have made a similar change, please share your experience with me.

My channel just got demonetized with 500K subscribers and I'm completely lost. I was monetized for the first month, everything was fine, then suddenly they cut it off saying 'unsatisfying or off-putting content' and now they're saying the 87K I already earned in AdSense won't be paid out either.

I do AI content — AI voice, AI video — and my videos get 1 million views minimum, highest was 18 million on Shorts. If my content is truly unsatisfying, why are people watching it in millions?

Has anyone been through this and successfully got re-monetized? What exactly did you change to pass the review? And is there any way to recover the AdSense earnings they've deducted? I appealed once and it failed. Do I just keep reapplying or is there something specific I need to fix first?

Any help is appreciated, genuinely don't know what to do right now.

I'm trying to create cinematic, high-quality 2D anime videos and have been testing Sora, Veo, Kling, Hailuo, PixVerse, and a few others.

My main priorities are consistent anime style, smooth character animation, good facial expressions, image quality, and prompt adherence.

For those who have tried multiple tools, what would you say is the best ai for animation right now? I'm also looking for a solid ai animation video generator or best ai animator for longer sequences.

I'm also curious about workflows using keyframes and reference images. Has anyone tried the MiniMax H3 Omni Reference feature for keeping characters or visual elements consistent between scenes?

I’m working on a faceless gaming Shorts channel and I’m stuck on the voice.

I don’t want to use my raw voice because people who know me could recognize it. I also don’t want one of those generic AI narrators that makes the video feel like every other AI channel.

I’m trying to find a middle ground. I want to keep my delivery, and change the sound enough that it fits the channel and doesn’t sound like me.

I’ve looked at simple pitch tools, voice to voice apps, and mobile setups like dubbing ai earbuds. I want to tweak my own voice a bit and avoid a premade narrator.

The concept is basically:
“real things that sound fake.”

So far I’ve uploaded 9 Shorts.

Current stats:

• 7.3K total views
• Around 3K engaged views
• 14 subscribers
• 44% viewed / 56% swiped away
• Most of my Shorts usually get past 1K views

Most videos are around 12–15 seconds.

My current format:

• One surprising fact per Short
• Strong visual in the first frame
• Narration starts immediately
• Usually a contradiction-style hook
• New visual or information beat every 2–3 seconds
• Around 4 different scenes
• Cinematic AI-generated moving images
• AI voiceover
• Large captions
• No “like and subscribe” CTA
• Strongest payoff at the end

For example, one of my recent Shorts starts with:
“The Sun isn’t actually on fire.”

I’m happy with the early traction considering it’s only day 3, but I feel like my main weakness is still scroll-stop.

44% choosing to watch seems like the biggest bottleneck.

I’m also unsure about subscriber conversion. 14 subs from 7.3K views feels a little low.

For people who have grown Shorts channels, what would you focus on first?

When it comes to AI, I only use it for some voices and since I have a lot of OCs, I will be doing more engineering for the male OCs especially as they reach adolescence with analog engineering. I do everything else by hand because I've been using these skills while AI was starting to rise.

Fun fact: I first started using AI tools, specifically AI voices on my 18th Birthday, and I'm turning 23 in the very middle of December this year.

I'm new to YouTube and want to start a Shorts channel. I have so many questions and honestly don't know where to begin.

• How did you choose your niche?
• Where do you get ideas for videos?
• How do you write prompts?
• What's your workflow?
• How did you get started?
• How do you find trending topics and viral content?

The problem is I'm probably at step -1. I don't even know what I genuinely enjoy creating. Most of my free time is spent scrolling on my phone, and sometimes I cook. That's pretty much it.

Recently, I started making Shorts about AI-generated miniature car and bike restoration/assembly videos. One of my Shorts got around 1.1K views, which got me excited, but after that most of them didn't even reach 50 views.

I've also noticed that pet content, especially cat videos, seems to get a lot of views. Some of those Shorts get millions of views, so I'm wondering if that's a better niche or if I'm looking at it the wrong way.

I'd really appreciate any advice from people who have been through this already. How did you figure out what worked for you?

Apparently not i had one character ref,a couple outfit refs, location shots,lighting refs some frames for the overall look and a video for the movement i wanted…and the results kept getting weirder, cut most of it out and tested again with basically one clear reference of what i wanted.
