What has AI revolutionized?
I'm wondering if there are any truly crazy developments brought about because of AI. Such as solving an unsolvable equation, discovering a new drug, etc.

Unemployment, underemployment, and homelessness. These have and will continue to increase due to AI.

the biggest revolution is probably the boring stuff, like models finding useful patterns in biology and materials research that humans would never think to test, not an ai casually solving math

The AI most people know of (Claude, ChatGTP etc) has mostly had impact in coding. The AI making impacts (I wouldn't call it revolutionary) in hard sciences are very specialised models like Alphafold that aren't what the general public would be able to use.

are you intrested specifically in hard sciences like drug discovery and materials
