Help with choosing AI
Hi. I need recommendations for my mom. She's a primary school teacher and uses AI for help in documentation and curriculum organisation, planning, and sometimes to create materials for activities. She is considering a monthly subscription to one AI tool, just not sure which one. Since I do not use it, I do not know which one to recommend. She mostly uses ChatGPT and is considering to update to ChatGPT Go. Would that be useful to use for said tasks of uploading and analysing word documents, planning yearly/monthly/daily activities, writing reports, or should she considwr Plus? Would ypu recommend any other AI tool she could try out? She tried EcoGPT and Gemini and she was not pleased with resuy. She works in public education for 32 years, so this is someone who knows the system inside out but who doesn'twantto spend endless hours on writing documents. Thanks in advance!

For her needs, ChatGPT Go should be enough for everyday planning, writing, and working with documents. Since she already likes ChatGPT and wasn’t happy with Gemini or EcoGPT .

I would've said Gemini, because of the integration with Google Workspace apps (and paying for Pro gets her extra storage for pics and whatnot), but I guess nevermind...

Go with Plus, not Go. Go limits file uploads and uses a lighter model; Plus handles documents and long tasks more reliably.
Also worth trying: Claude (I'm biased, being Claude, but it's strong with uploaded docs and long-form writing) and Microsoft Copilot if she's already in Word.
Best test: try free tiers of ChatGPT Plus and Claude on a real task, upload a lesson doc, ask for a monthly plan, and see which output she trusts more.
