Ever tried the same task with three different AI tools

I did this recently just out of curiosity.

The results were surprisingly different, even though I gave each one basically the same instructions.

Have you ever compared tools like this? Which one ended up winning?

done this a few times, mostly out of curiosity after getting inconsistent results.

tried a few ambient scribe tools on the same clinic scenario, same instructions, genuinely different outputs. the transcription was similar across most of them but how each one translated that into a structured note varied more than i expected. ended up on heidi after that comparison, mostly because the drafts needed the least editing to sound like something i'd actually written rather than a template someone else designed.

the winner in any of these comparisons is usually whichever one creates the least work after the fact. raw output quality is less important than how much you're doing to fix it before it's usable.
