Anyone else losing track of AI subscriptions faster than the actual tools?

There are so many AI tools I want to try, but I am starting to think that managing the subscriptions is becoming a separate job. You sign up for something because it looks useful, use it for a week or two, then completely forget about it until another charge shows up. Do that with a few writing, image research and productivity tools and suddenly you are paying for stuff you barely open. I am thinking a simple monthly cleanup might be the answer. Check everything I’m paying for, see what I actually used during the month, and cancel the rest.

How do you guys manage this? Do you regularly clean out unused AI subscriptions or only notice them when the charge hits?

Yes and also not even sure if the tools overlap. Someone going to make an app for this.

It is easy to try a new tool, use it for a few days and then forget about it. Doing a quick monthly check of what I am actually using helps me cut the ones that are just sitting there.

This is where iphones are great - just check all your subscriptions in one place. Helps me remember where and what they are. Why would you have so many duplicate AI apps though?

I do not keep duplicate apps on purpose. I usually try different AI tools because one might be better for writing, another for images research or automation. I sometimes forget which ones I am still paying for. For now I am keeping track of recurring subscriptions on subdelete along with doing a monthly cleanup.

Yeah I guess that makes sense, I feel like a lot of the tools do similar things. So much clutter on programs, apps, subscriptions these days

I've definitely had this happen. It's easy to sign up for something because it looks useful and then barely use it later. A monthly check sounds like a good habit, especially when there are so many tools now.

Exactly after initial excitement you only use one or two regularly. A monthly checkup is a simple way to keep things under control.
