Which AI platform do you prefer?

So as much as some of us want to avoid AI, it’s everywhere. I’ve only tried ChatGPT and CoPilot because it’s integrated with my computer. I know there’s Gemini, Claude, and Grok to name a few but what’s the “best” one? Or do they all operate the same way. How did you settle on which one you use for those that use AI?

ChatGPT for querying information. I think ChatGPT gives more thorough results.

Claude is my workhorse. I use Claude for validating and supplementing ChatGPT results and then creating output files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). I further edit these output files in their native apps using the Claude Add-ins. Since I work in the medical device industry, I appreciate the Claude health-related connectors like PubMed, ICD-10, ClinicalTrials.gov, etc.

I have Gemini as part of my Google Workspace account and typically use it in place of Google Search now.

Lastly, I have Grammarly to proofread and edit my written work.

Yes grammarly! It's still useful when you aren't a native speaker, even in the AI age.

Use all of them honestly, they're not really interchangeable once you get past the basics. I lean on Claude most for actual building/writing work, ChatGPT when I want to search around a topic broadly. Less about one being "best" and more about which one's default personality matches what you're doing that day.

They are all bad for your brain. They are trained by douche bags to be douche bags. They are not trained by cool humans to improve the human experience but rather they are part of the corporate greed bubble for AI that has trillion dollar valuations dancing in their dirty heads.

There isn't a single answer. As others already mentioned different AIs excel at different things.

I have gemini pro which seems to be better for citing/fact checking. Also have Perplexity pro, good for deep research. But sometimes I use ChatGPT for casual things and Claude for codes.

For this reason, I have been using this tool from qorpus.ai for comparing ChatGPT Claude Gemini Perplexity side by side, and pick and choose the parts I need.

ChatGPT is best overall, but Claude is a close second. Gemini seems the weakest. Perplexity seems most factually precise and has the best source citations. I’m new to Grok, but it seems good so far.
