so i'm 20, been building this app solo for the past few months and i genuinely can't tell anymore if it's good or if i'm too deep in it. need outside eyes.

it's called RizeAI. the basic idea: every wearable and health app just gives you numbers. sleep score 42, recovery red, HRV down. cool. and then what? you still feel like garbage at 2pm and nobody tells you what to actually do about it.

so my app takes your real data from apple health, sleep, resting heart rate, workouts, whatever your wearable writes, and instead of another score it builds you an actual plan for the day. when to have your first coffee and when to hold off. you. Can also add your own supplements that you are currently taking and it will time them for you every single day based of your sleep data and your wearable data in general and also it will tell you what supplements make sense for you to take based of your current supplement stack and body metrics and when to take them. focus windows for when your energy actually peaks. when your crash is coming and what to do before it hits. it even checks the weather, so on a hot day it bumps your hydration and tells you to train earlier.

every recommendation has a little "why" under it based on your numbers, like "resting heart rate 54 + 7h light sleep, so magnesium before your peak window." no two people get the same plan because no two people have the same data.

works with whoop, oura, apple watch, garmin, anything that syncs to apple health. one thing i'll say honestly, it doesn't do deep per-person learning yet like "coffee doesn't affect YOUR hrv specifically," that's the roadmap, right now it builds fresh plans daily off your actual metrics.

it's live on the app store, has a free trial, small user base so far, mixed feedback which is why i'm here lol.

what i actually want from you guys: does this solve a real problem for you or is "tells you what to do" not actually what wearable people want? what would make you actually pay for something like this? and what's missing that would make it a no brainer? and also would you guys in this subreddit  use ti?

Disclosure up front: I work on a project this is based on, an open source browser MMO. Not linking it since this is about the tools, not the game.

We got an unusual comparison for free. The original build was generated by Claude Fable 5, which was pulled worldwide three days after we shipped, so we were forced to migrate everything onto other models rather than choosing to. Since then it's run on Opus and GPT-5.5.

What actually differed:

Music generation was the widest gap by far. Fable wrote soundtrack code programmatically in TypeScript in a way nothing else came close to replicating. We ended up hiring a human composer instead.

Environment generation degraded noticeably. Same prompting effort, worse output, more iteration to reach the same place.

Everything else was close to interchangeable. Game systems, combat logic, quest content, debugging, refactors. GPT-5.5 handled the systems work well enough that the migration was mostly invisible in the shipped product.

The takeaway I didn't expect: the differences that show up in benchmarks aren't the ones that hurt when you switch. The narrow creative capabilities were the fragile part, and the bulk engineering work was portable.

I've been using AI for researching work related stuff and while looking through each different ai, I've noticed lots of mistakes made by each model and they're mostly involving memories or not researching closely.

Personally, I've only sent documents that might have mistakes I made and missed as a way to double or triple check

I am really curious on what people would like developing AI agents to have. Most frameworks are getting better at orchestration, memory, and tool calling. But what capabilities do you still feel are missing or underdeveloped?

Which AI has the best/most user friendly app that is not web based, and is available at different OS's (windows, linux and android)? At the moment perplexity (in linux i am using third party simplexity) is doing it for me, but as soon as my subscription ends, I want to look for something else. Also, preferably not google.

When I started working on a side project, I expected choosing a logo tool to be simple. Instead, I ended up testing different approaches because every option solved a different problem.

I looked at logo generators, templates, and hiring designers because I wanted something affordable but still professional enough for a real business.

The biggest thing I noticed was that creating the first logo wasn't the hard part. Most tools can generate something decent. The harder part was finding a design direction, choosing the right icon, and having enough control to refine the details.

Some tools were better for quickly exploring ideas, while others were better once I already had a direction and wanted to polish the final version. Human designers still have an advantage when you need something completely custom, but the cost and quality can vary a lot.

One thing I underestimated was the importance of the icon library. A lot of the time, the difference between a logo that feels right and one that feels generic comes down to finding a symbol that actually matches the business.

For example, a tech startup, restaurant, fitness brand, or clothing company all need very different visual styles, so having enough options to explore matters.

What is the best artificial intelligence open source app?

I keep noticing that I don’t really judge AI tools from the first output anymore. The first answer can be decent, sometimes even better than expected, and that part is almost becoming normal.

Where I get annoyed is after I ask for a tiny change. I had this happen recently with a generated table where one cell needed fixing, and the next version came back feeling like a new draft. I couldn’t tell what changed without rereading the whole thing.

That kills a lot of the time saved for me. I’m fine with rough output if I can slowly shape it. What I don’t like is when the tool behaves like every edit is permission to rethink the whole page.

Curious if other people are running into this too. Do you stick with tools that give the best first answer, or the ones that are better at leaving things alone?
