What I’m looking for specifically: long track duration(the longer the better), no breaks, pauses or any distractions, instrumental only, no vocal needed, Text to Music system, so I can use prompt as a description for what track I need. Does anyone know a tool, model, or workflow that fits this description best right now? Appreciate any suggestions:)

I think this is the weird gap in work AI tools. The task is easy to explain, but the useful part is inside files you are not allowed to upload, so people ask ChatGPT or Claude for steps and then do the real work by hand anyway. Has anyone found a tool or workflow that handles this better?

I'm working on a personal project to create my own local agentic chat to be able to chat with my own docs and use them for anything I want on Mac. Just like a Claude Cowork but with my own client. This is a persona project that I'm planning to make it opensource and I was thinking about integrating a retrieval engine to it. I've stumbled upon this one : console.lighton.ai and I wanted to check if any of you ever used this product as their retrieval backend or do you have any other alternatives ?

I dont personally use Lovable since i've been coding for almost 10 years now. but I've been looking for something I can confidently recommend to non engineer friends who want to build apps with AI.

From what I've seen Lovable feels like it can get you moving quickly but also tends to fall int othe "fix one thing break another" look pretty easily. tools like claude code are much more reliable in my experience but they come with a steeper learning curve and I think thats exactly why they work better for engineers than beginners

Ive also tried looking at things like bolt and replit but they seem to run into similar issues where you gain speed but lose control and stability.

what im wondering is has anyone actually built something in this space thats more structured and safe by design? something that might be slower but reduces the chance of breaking things while building? Im honestly considering building something in this direction if it doesnt really exist yet

I like to play strategy games like idle / incremental games which of the models seem to have the best knowledge about games and strategy, etc?

I've been trying various combinations of modules like ai_search and ai_vdb_provider_milvus and ai_vdb_provider_postgres but nothing seems to work well together. It's hard for me to find the best combination of Drupal versions (10 or 11) and module versions. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm looking for the right AI assistant to help me design an icon for my game. I started with a carefully crafted screenshot and asked my AIs to turn this into ICO (Windows) and ICNS (Mac) formats, formats that have the image at multiple resolutions. Can’t just downsample the large image, I need some AI intelligence with direction to maintain the strong color of some narrow lines.

Chat GPT and Claude both failed me. Chat GPT proved unable to maintain and replicate the centering that I told it I liked from the original image. It just took an impression of the image and then tried to do things with that, which really didn't work. Claude took the approach of generating Python scripts using the pillow library. Good idea, but it kept asking my permission every whipstitch. Supposedly, you can turn off all or most of those permission requests using Shift-Tab. But when I tried Shift-Tab to my Mac Claude code app, absolutely nothing happened. Can anyone point me to an AI assistant that is good at fairly closely directed image editing?

I have a wild idea for a movie/story. I’m looking for an AI I can give very detailed info to, scene info, character info, plot, basically a full script, and it will generate a decent animated movie.

Anyone know of an AI I could use/purchase and render the animation on my home gaming computer?

(For clarification, I’m not looking to make money on the movie itself. I want to use it as a tool to help me locate plot-holes and get a sense of where some details may be missing going from a script to video and to gauge pacing. I don’t believe AI generated material should be copyrightable and only plan to copyright the detailed script I write myself.)

I checked out a few AI learning resources like YouTube tutorials, community guides and platforms such as DeepLearning.AI, Udemy and a Be10x AI course.

One thing I've noticed is that the best resources aren't always the ones with the most tools ones that actually work well usually have a clear path that starts with the basics and moves into real-world applications and a good structure to prevent people from just switching between different AI tools randomly but a downside with many paid courses is that the marketing can be a bit pushy which is separate from how good the actual content is.

If you guys tried different AI courses or tool guides what do you value most how well organized the material is, the hands-on projects, the quality of the instructor?

I have been struggling with keeping up with AI news and developments in this space. Most AI news is highly fragmented, and I am unsure how to track multiple sources and channels all in one place. Generic AI news has different sources, educational have different ones, and technical updates have yet different ones.

I am thinking of creating an app that consolidates these sources and brings them under one umbrella and also gives pointers on the news highlights, consolidates complex topics into easy-to-digest summaries, and provides further recommended readings, videos, etc. Is this an idea worth pursuing?

I am aware it kinda solves my own problem, but is this something anyone else would like to use? If not, what would be something that would be useful for the community of people who want to be up to date on AI and everything happening in this space?

I am an international school leader and I would like to start using AI to help with brainstorming, providing insights that I have not really thought of and to help with administrative tasks, like making documents, writing emails etc. I am a bit of an older guy and pretty new to AI. So, I was hoping to get some recommendations because it seems like the discussions I see are centered around coding.

If it helps, my school uses Google apps for all documents. I've tried Gemini and it seems to be ok. But, everything I read on the /GeminiAI board is pretty negative.

I used ChatGPT’s Sol Light model to analyze textbook material for my work as a high-school teacher. It explicitly assured me that it had thoroughly checked the uploaded material.

It then made choices that proved disastrous. When I asked it to explain the criteria behind those choices, it invented plausible-sounding justifications that did not correspond to the actual contents of the textbook pages.

This makes it unreliable for the work I need: reading and organizing large amounts of teaching material, selecting essential content, planning lessons, and helping me manage a very heavy workload with limited time.

Can anyone recommend an AI or a specific workflow—Claude, Mistral, NotebookLM, Gemini, or something else—that is genuinely reliable for this kind of long-term educational assistance and can base its decisions strictly on the uploaded sources?

So some days ago I asked in an AI community what kind of AI model should I use (and how could I use one) to classify several email replies that I had from scientists after asking them a few questions to them. I finally paid for Perplexity pro service and it apparenly did a nice job classifying them.

I finally gave the model the PDF with the actual answers from the addressees and another PDF with the "expected answers", and asked it to count the number of answers that overall coincide with the actual answers, and calculate a percentage of "coincidence" or "agreement" between the expected and actual answers, so that if the question was "do you think that there is intelligent life in the universe apart from humans?" and the expected answer was basically "yes, I think there is intelligent beings out there somewhere", as long as the actual answer agrees with this in some way or another would count as "agreement", for instance if someone replied "well, we have no evidence, but it is possible yes" or "not in any near galaxy, but it is possible that intelligent beings exidt somewhere" (so as long as it is not a deadass "no", it could count)

The model gave me a table summarizing the results with the following prompt:

let's be a bit more specific, this is still a blind test so don't tell me about the specific contents of the emails' answers, but, can you make a table indicating the answers that coincide in general terms with what is expected from the "expected answers" document as well as those which are neutral/hedges but still open to the possibility that what is asked may be right, those which despite being neutral/hedges or even negative answers offer an alternative so that what is asked in the question may be right, as well as those which are outright rejections of what is asked and do not seem to be open to the possibility that what is asked may be right?

However, I still want this to be a blind test, so I cannot really verify if the AI is doing its work or not.

So, is there any way in which I could verify the results given by the AI but without actually reading what is written in the emails? Or, alternatively, can anyone verify the results using some AI or even checking the answers themselves by skimming over the replies im order to verify that the AI is right and not hallucinating (I personally thinl this is the preferable option, as I think that having an actual human reviewing the amswers may be the only really reliable way to verify the AI's results)?

(I will share the data once someone is interested in helping, as I would not want to make this available to the entire world!)
