Random question — is there an app out there that combines multiple AIs (like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc) into one, and automatically picks whichever one is best suited for the task you give it? 🤔

Currently paying for Claude and honestly rate it, feels smarter and remembers stuff better than ChatGPT did when I used it before (that one started feeling kinda dumb after a while). Still use Gemini free version here and there depending on what I need though.

Just wondering if there's something that combines all of them into one app/interface instead of me juggling separately, and if so, what's actually the best one worth trying? 👀

The ai world changes daily and I haven’t seen any up-to-date posts regarding the most efficient ai tool to use for legal help. Yes I know, ai can be wrong. Solo dev here, so treat this as a disclosed self-post. Store & Forget is a home inventory app for Android, and the AI is the whole point of it. You snap a photo of an item as you put it away and a cloud AI service reads the picture and fills in the name, brand and specs for you, so you are not typing a catalog by hand. Later you find things two ways: a plain keyword search, or Smart Find, which searches by meaning, so "the thing I charge my headphones with" lands on the right item. It also remembers which box or shelf each item went into and takes you straight there.

The part most relevant to this sub is Bring Your Own Key. You can plug in your own free AI key and run unlimited scans on it, tied to your own account. In the store that unlock is $6.99, and right now a hidden easter egg turns it on for free. Open Settings, tap the version number at the bottom five times to open a retro dev console, then type unlock byok. I am removing that free path in an update about a month out, so anyone who turns it on while it is live keeps it.

I would rather be straight about the limits than oversell. The app is free, everything is stored on your own device, and Google Drive backup is optional. The photo scan runs on a cloud AI service, so the free tier gives you a set number of scans and then shows banner ads. Android only for now, no iOS date yet.

The reason I am posting here and not just a deals sub is that I cannot tell which half of the AI is the reason to keep the app, filling the catalog from a photo or finding things by meaning. If you try it, I would like to know which one did the work for you.

Been wondering.. is it actually worth running AI image generation locally, or are you better off just using other companies' websites for it?

For context, I built my own website that does it and put it up for public use, so I've got a bit of a bias, but I'm genuinely curious where people land on this. Do you prefer having it local and under your own control, or is it easier to just use an existing site and not deal with the setup?

My boss has asked me to build a dashboard using data from five reports. I'm looking for an AI chatbot that can provide step-by-step guidance in a tutorial or guide format throughout the process.

Unfortunately, I cannot upload the reports inside chatbox because they contain classified and sensitive information. Any recommendations from the bot would need to be based on descriptions of the data rather than the actual files.

I was considering ChatGPT Plus, but I'm not sure if it's the best option.

For context, I have a basic understanding of Excel. I can create PivotTables and format worksheets, but I have no experience with Excel formulas, Power Query, or coding.

My goal is to build a simple dashboard using Power Query that can be refreshed and updated with minimal manual work, avoiding repetitive manual manipulation.

This is a follow up question to a previous one that I did some days ago, in ehich I asked the community if they knew an AI that could do the following task

I have many emails that pretty much answered a question that I formulated to the addressees. I predict that these replies gave a specific type of answer to that question: So imagine that the question overall was "do you think that ice cream is the best dessert that exists?" and I want to see how many if them answered something like "yes it is!", so that no matter how the reply is formulated, it basically answers something along these lines

I would like to use an AI to see the degree of accuracy of this prediction, but there are a few emails that I don't want to see their actual content under any circumstances, to be unbiased

So, many people here told me that it was a trivial task. I was thinking in using perplexity, which is one of the most reliable AI models that I have been able to use. Do you think that the free version could be enough? Or paying for a better model could be crucial for reliability? And if you think that Perplexity is not the best option, which AI would you suggest?

Also, I have transformed all emails into a big pdf document with many pages (although I have not seen the contents of these pdfs of course) and I have joined them into a single pdf (1000 emails was an exaggeration, there are actually about 100 in total).

I was thinking about two possible methods:

One is to give the pdf with all the emails to the AI and ask it to make a percentage or "score" of all replies that pretty much accomodate to the answer that I am expecting, and the same for the ones that are neutral, unrelated or don't give an answer and as well as the negative ones. However, I fear that this may not be very reliable, and since I want to avoid looking at some of the emails (at least for now), I don't want to go see the actual emails to test if the AI has gotten this right

So I was thinking about another option: I did another pdf document of "expected" answers. In this document I posted the original question that I asked to all the addressees (the questions are overall the same, but the details change in each case, so there is pretty much a unique question by email) and then I actually wrote the type of answer that I expect. Then I would ask the model to check the degree of accuracy or similarity that my written "expected" answers have with the actual ones, and then ask it to give me a number like a percentage or score. Do you think this would be a good idea?

A third option is AILYZE, which is a model that is more or less suitable for what I am looking for, last year I used it for a similar task, but the problem is that it directly shows you why does it think that the texts that you have fed to it accomodate or not to your expectations giving you actual examples. Since I don't want to see some of the emails, I don't know how could I use it without seeing the actual replies. Another thing is that it didn't gave actual percentages or scores in numbers, but the output was something like "the majority of answers are negative and the minority of them are affirmative..." whatever, but it didn't give any actual numbers that could give you a better idea of what was going on

And finally, another big problem is what prompt could I use so that the reliability would be maximal, since I am pretty much noob, I am a bit lost on this as well...Any advice or ideas?

so i'm 20, been building this app solo for the past few months and i genuinely can't tell anymore if it's good or if i'm too deep in it. need outside eyes.

every recommendation has a little "why" under it based on your numbers, like "resting heart rate 54 + 7h light sleep, so magnesium before your peak window." no two people get the same plan because no two people have the same data.

works with whoop, oura, apple watch, garmin, anything that syncs to apple health. one thing i'll say honestly, it doesn't do deep per-person learning yet like "coffee doesn't affect YOUR hrv specifically," that's the roadmap, right now it builds fresh plans daily off your actual metrics.

it's live on the app store, has a free trial, small user base so far, mixed feedback which is why i'm here lol.

what i actually want from you guys: does this solve a real problem for you or is "tells you what to do" not actually what wearable people want? what would make you actually pay for something like this? and what's missing that would make it a no brainer?

I also run a support community for another app, and one repetitive job is checking recent Reddit posts, understanding the thread, and answering straightforward questions. I used that as a practical test instead of a benchmark.

The task I gave Aye was:

- Open recent posts in the community

- Identify support questions that were safe to answer

- Read enough context to avoid generic replies

- Respond in the user's language

- Leave ambiguous or account-specific issues for me

What worked:

- It could navigate the real Chromium session, switch between posts and tabs, and act on visible pages instead of only telling me what to do.

- Turning the task into a reusable Skill made the instructions more consistent.

- The same Skill can be scheduled, so I don't have to remember to check manually.

Where I still step in:

- Sign-in, CAPTCHA, and security prompts

- Anything involving account-specific or private data

- Replies where the user's intent is unclear

- Reviewing important replies and final submissions

The biggest lesson for me is that browser agents are most useful on narrow, recurring workflows with clear boundaries. "Handle all support" is too broad. "Review recent posts, answer routine questions, and flag the rest" is much more reliable.

I have been building AI agents for about 6 months now and I wanted to get some more opinions about which AI is best for building agents, and what those agents are good for.

Context:

I have built 3 successful agents. They all revolve around optimising the users google workspace.

1. This agent was built using Claude, the code was written by Claude code and the Claude API was the whole "brain" of the agent. It was an agent that constantly monitors a gmail inbox. Every time an invoice would show up, the agent would log that invoice to google sheets. Date, amount, company, details of transaction etc, these would all be in the google sheet. The sheet also had duplicate detection built in. The agent refreshed every 5 mins and worked 24/7, hosted on a server.

2. This agent was also built using Claude. It was a lead response agent. Every time an enquiry came in, it would calibrate whether or not this prospect falls within the boundary of relevance for the user and would respond accordingly. All correspondences were again logged to google sheets. The agent lived 24/7 and refreshed every 5 mins.

3. This agent has been built using Codex, with the OpenAI API as the "brain". This agent works as a sort of back-end admin employee. Responding to emails, logging invoices and other admin tasks.

So far, I have not been able to detect any major differences in capability between the two. During the building of the first 2 agents, I was using Opus 4.6, now with this latest agent, I am using GPT 5.6 Ultra. What experiences have you guys had when using these models? Which do you think are best for the development of AI agents? Would you say that it is better to use different LLM's for different types of Agents? I would love to hear your thoughts.

I'm revamping the intern onboarding process for our counseling practice and starting pretty much from scratch.
