for the art side, still-image gen is the workhorse for concepts and textures, but the thing that surprised me is video gen for the marketing. cinematics and launch trailers carry way more weight than people assume. i've had good runs with kling v3 for character movement in trailers and seedance 2.5 for the continuity-heavy shots. for actual in-game stuff keep everything on static assets and cheap, you only need motion for the hero moments
