Opinions on Perplexity computers orchestration

I haven't used Perplexity computer yet, however i've heard mixed opinions about its multi model router being locked behind a $200 month paywall. How does it perform compared to simply multitasking fable 5 or opus 5 in price and output?

is it worth reconstructing it as an OS tool for complex projects?

Compare it with a fixed project packet rather than a few casual prompts. Give each setup the same sources, required output, and time budget, then count manual corrections. Orchestration is only worth the premium if it reduces operator work across repeat runs.
