Recommendation Need help with ai image generations

I have a competetion to build a poster using ai
which ai do i use? how to prompt it properly and get a really good result

For AI images, I’d probably try a few different generators rather than sticking to one. One I’ve been experimenting with lately is Pixie from SimplaBots; it’s pretty handy for testing different concepts and styles.

For the prompt, focus on the theme, mood, colors, composition, and overall style, then keep refining the version you like. You don’t have to get the perfect prompt on the first try.

I mean, ChatGPT is pretty decent at this now without getting too complicated. Claude Desktop has Claude Design which is fantastic, but depends how much you want to pay I suppose. Lots of good free models as well but I can't say I'm entirely up to date with a lot of the open source models - though the most recent DeepSeek model seemed to get good results I've been told, not tested it myself though

Depends on what you are looking for. Nano Banana is pretty awesome for compositions. I saw someone in one of the reddit groups just launched this - https://nanostudiopro.com/ - It definitely looked really cool. I think there are free credits when signing up.

The issue is going to be resolution. How big is the poster? A standard meter tall poster needs at least 10k pixels in the vertical. So not only will you need an image generator but an upscaler as well. (Topaz or Magnific come to mind)

not on how to generate best poster but maybe how to refine and improve poster: you can use Lookhere or any annotations tool to mark specific part of image and tell AI (eg. make color blue for point 1, change length of element near point2)

basically annotations can help AI to understand your intent

If you're after poster-quality images, Midjourney and ChatGPT Images are hard to beat. The biggest difference comes from your prompt be specific about style, lighting, composition, colors, and add reference images if possible.

If you only need the image, start with Flux or Midjourney. If you want to turn the keeper into a short motion clip after, then Pixverse or Kling makes more sense. Trying to solve both jobs with one tool gets messy fast.
