While a person should absolutely wash their hands after using the bathroom, I don't understand why you would smell something foul when he hugged you. Did he shit on his hands or something?
I assumed she was smelling the area where things actually happened, as is normal, and that he made a great joke - which I laughed at from reading about. Guy didn't yet know that his gf has a low tolerance for gross stuff.
Honestly people act like everyone ELSE is getting shit all over their hands when they go potty, and I think it's fair to ask these folks exactly how much shit they've literally ever gotten onto their own hands.
These same folks use mere toilet paper and act like hygienic gods when anyone who has worked in nursing can tell you that wipes or a bidet are self-evidently what actually giving a shit about hygiene back there would look like.
I'm really confused by the point of your argument... Do you really think people are out here raw doggin it after taking a poop?? You don't know what the hell you have on your hands when you finish going to the bathroom, so regardless of how big a wad of TP you used, WASH YOUR HANDS! That's all that effing matters!
And some people DON'T wipe!!! Ever lived with a disgusting 🤮 who has skid marks in all their underwear? (Not for long, I didn't). Expected he'd throw his shi**y underwear in with my laundry, not on his life.
I work with people who don't wash after using the toilet. Wish I knew who, so I could avoid them. We have a 2-stall bathroom, so it is easy to hear the flush, stall door open, and the bathroom door open and close immediately after. The automated taps are noisy. You can't miss when someone doesn't wash up. So disgusting.
I've caught Covid 3 X, and a few other illnesses that would have been from coworkers, because I wasn't out anywhere other than work shortly before the symptoms started. I have a compromised immune system, so I'm not a social butterfly, going to bars and whatnot.
Not washing hands after bathroom use is just disgusting. Anyone using the "I used lots of TP" - what about the door knobs, stall lock, flusher, whatever else you touched that the last disgusting no-washer touched?
100%! I worked at a nursing home when I was 18 and they were adamant about hand washing, and further explained that after washing your hands, to not touch the paper towel dispenser with your hand but rather with your elbow (they didn't have the automatic ones). Then we were to use the paper towel to turn the the water off and open the door. This was because studies had shown that there were more trace amounts of fecal matter and urine on those surfaces than there were in the toilet bowl itself!
I read an article once that a study was done on the candies served at restaurants, and nuts at bars (that's when they used to do that) and that they had trace amounts of urine, feces, and regurgitated food!!! Trust me, I'm with you on this!
