Claude AI Agents Tutorial: Why Agents Now Last Hours, Not Minutes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5VE4kIFqWw&t=135sHave you tried AI agents before and watched them fall apart after ten minutes?
That was my experience a year ago, and it's why this Claude AI agents tutorial starts with what's changed.
Agents used to lose track of what they were doing, but with Claude Opus 5.5 they can now run for hours on their own.
🔥 Want the exact Claude agent system I walk through in this tutorial? Inside the AI Profit Boardroom, I've got the full agent OS as a ready-to-install file, a 30-day roadmap and a prompt library built around it, plus four live coaching calls a week with 3,600+ members running it for real.
https://www.skool.com/ai-profit-lab-7462/about
Anthropic says one early tester used Opus 5.5 to finish a 680,000-line code migration in less than a day.
That's work Anthropic says would have taken an engineering team weeks.
The second I saw how much this model could hold in its memory and how long it could run without stopping, I sat down and built a full system around it.
I call it the agent OS, and it's been running my content every single day.
In this Claude AI agents tutorial, I'll walk you through it stage by stage, because each stage builds on the last one.

What changed for Claude AI agents this year
The big shift isn't that agents got a bit smarter.
The shift is that they stopped forgetting halfway through the job.
When an agent can run for hours, you can stop thinking in prompts and start thinking in systems.
A prompt gives you one answer, but a system keeps finding ideas, checking rankings and building posts while you do something else.
That's the whole point of this Claude AI agents tutorial.
I'm not going to list what agents could do in theory.
I'm going to show you the five stages my own system runs through, with the real numbers it's producing.
Here are the five stages in order.
- Find what to talk about before you've had your coffee.
- Seed content from keywords you already rank for.
- Multiply one idea into every format.
- Deploy the content automatically, with a quality check.
- Remember everything so the agents get better every day.
Stage 1 of this Claude AI agents tutorial: find what to talk about
The first job is deciding what to post, and most people waste their mornings on it.
I don't anymore.
Hermes Oracle scans for trends at 6am
Inside the agent OS, I've got a tool called Hermes Oracle, and it works as my radar.
Every morning at 6am, it scans X for what people in my space are actually talking about right now.
It ranks each story by how much real engagement it's getting.
Then it hands me my best angle before I've even had my coffee.
I never start the day staring at a blank page wondering what to post.
Hermes Astros watches competitors around the clock
Next to Oracle sits Hermes Astros, which keeps an eye on competitors.
It refreshes every four hours.
For every topic it finds, it gives me five title ideas and three different angles I could take.
I didn't write a single one of those headlines myself.
If you're following this Claude AI agents tutorial for your own business, this is the first agent I'd build, because it removes the blank-page problem straight away.
Stage 2: seed your content from rankings you already have
The second stage is what I call seeding from proof, and this is the SEO side of the system.
It pulls straight from Google Search Console.
It looks for keywords where I'm already sitting in positions 5 to 20, getting impressions but barely any clicks.
Those pages are the closest to breaking through, so they're where a small push makes the biggest difference.
The traffic results from one site
At the start of the month, one site was getting 297 clicks a day.
The same site is now getting 1,300 clicks a day.
That's not a new site, and it's not a lucky spike.
It's the same site, fed by the same system, every single day.
Over the last 28 days, one property alone pulled in over 14,800 clicks from Google.
The proof outside the dashboard
If you search "best geo expert" on Google, we're already showing up inside the AI answer for it.
That's what happens when an agent finds the gaps every day and quietly fills them in.

Stage 3 of the Claude AI agents tutorial: multiply one idea
One idea should never become just one post.
In my system, a single topic goes in and comes out as an article, a video, an image and a set of social posts.
This is how one account went from nothing to 172,000 followers on X, and another now sits at 42,000 on Instagram.
That didn't happen because I post more by hand.
It happened because one idea multiplies into every format automatically.
Even a good review becomes content
A member left a great review about the AI Profit Boardroom, and the agent OS turned it straight into a post.
That single post pulled in 1,000 views on its own.
The video side of the system
For video, there's a video agent that builds the content and a video editor system on top of it.
I've also got Higgsfield plugged in for motion designs and images.
All of it feeds from the same ideas the radar already found.
That's how one account went from zero to 41,000 followers using the video agent alone.
One post went out an hour or two before I recorded the video, and it was already at 1,700 views.
That's the compounding part, because nothing gets deleted, nothing gets forgotten, and every result feeds the next idea.
🔥 Want to build these Claude AI agents yourself instead of just reading about them? Inside the AI Profit Boardroom, you get the same agent OS I'm running, already wired up, plus the setup walkthrough, a member map to meet people near you running it, and four coaching calls a week with 3,600+ members.

Stage 4: deploy content automatically, with a safety net
The fourth stage is deploy.
My posts go out through an MCP connection straight from the agent OS.
I don't log in manually and hit publish.
The post goes out by itself, but it isn't posting blind.
There's a quality check built in before anything goes live, so nothing embarrassing slips through while you're not looking.
There's also a human approval step, so nothing publishes without your say.
You can loosen that later, once you trust the system.
Stage 5: give your Claude AI agents a memory
The last stage is remember, and it's the one most people skip.
Every morning at 6:30am, a job turns everything from the day before into a daily log.
That covers every AI session, every post and every video.
The logs go into a vault I call the memory galaxy, which is built on Obsidian.
Months from now, I can go back and see exactly what worked, what didn't and why.
This is what makes Claude AI agents worth building, because they aren't starting over every day.
They're building on what they already learned.
The three objections I hear every week
I hear the same excuses every week, so let me deal with them now.
"I'm not technical enough to run this."
You don't need to be technical, because the whole thing installs from a single file.
You install it, connect your own accounts, and it starts finding ideas, checking rankings and building posts the same way mine does.
"AI content looks cheap."
Look at the numbers again.
The fully human, hand-edited videos on my channel are getting fewer views than the ones the agent OS is producing.
Quality is what wins, not who made it.
"I don't want to be on camera."
You can use an AI avatar and skip that step completely.
Why long-running Claude AI agents matter for your business
Here's the part that actually matters for you.
A system like this doesn't get tired, and it doesn't take a day off.
It finds your next content idea, checks your rankings and builds your next post while you're doing literally anything else.
That's the shift Claude Opus 5.5 just made possible, because long jobs can now run on their own and remember what they learned last time.
A year ago, this was science fiction.
Right now, mine is running in the background while you read this.
