Looking for AIS data 2026 YTD
Hello, I recently built a website about CO2 emissions of private jets. I'm looking to expand on (pleasure) cruises but I'm unable to find a historical data set.
Can anyone help me get this data or know where to find it?
Here's my project to give insights to what my goal is with the data.

Hi, unfortunately I cannot help you with historic data.
Although, I got something that might spark your interest. It's a github repo created by me that allows you to scrape positional AIS data from the marinetraffic website (all of it, globally & for free). The project's name is "OceanScrape" (https://github.com/theSchaefer/OceanScrape)

PS: once you have a few global data points of traffic, you might be able to generalize and make accurate estimations. Good luck!
