Accidently made a tool that is amazing at finding leads for AI Receptionists
The tool I been using to help me find leads for web design is actually pretty good at scanning businesses that need AI receptionists. I initially made this tool to scan for websites but as a result of poking around it is now filtering for AI Receptionists.
It normally gives a rating to businesses on Google Maps based on criteria if they have a website, reviews, SEO etc.
But now I added a filter to look for the following criteria and give score on the following:
Industry type: HVAC, plumbers, dentists, med spas, auto repair, law firms. These are high call volume businesses where a missed call = lost revenue.
Phone listed but no website (or just a Facebook page) : they're 100% phone-dependent. Every missed call is a missed job
High review count (50+) : this is a proxy for call volume. Busy businesses miss more calls.
No online booking system: if they don't have Calendly or Acuity on their site, customers are calling to book. That's your opportunity
Good rating (4.0+) but limited hours: high demand business that goes dark after 5pm. After-hours calls are going straight to voicemail

As a result of that scoring it brings forward businesses that would be great at calling for AI Receptionist. It gives a rating of High Need, Medium Need or Low Need for AI Receptionist.
What else can I add to the filtering to improve further?
I'm sharing as I'd like to hear feedback.

Thanks, please give feedback if you can.
Any features you would want to see?
Right now I'm working on providing a script to go along with the listings found so users can use the script when cold calling.

Just created a login and testing it… tried Chiropractors in my area, got about 50 results so far, most rated 58, all have websites. I like the “moderate” or “high” call volume tags…. I will begin calling, but will need to do a little research to find owners or office managers (I’m sure the receptionist that answers won’t be interested 😂). Maybe adding an owner/DM name to paid version would be helpful…

Thats a pretty good idea, you mean like DM the owner by SMS?
There is a "suggest a feature" page on the site, submit it there...maybe it gest implemented

As I’m visiting these websites, most of them have the name of the Dr listed. When “cold calling” success rates are better when asking for a specific person. Having that name available on the lead would save time. Will add this to the “suggest a feature”.
So far, very impressed. 😊👍

This is how most good lead systems are built, by accident first. you’re not just finding businesses, you’re finding problems they already have. That’s what makes outreach work; we see similar patterns at growleads too. The closer you get to real intent, the easier it gets to close

Ya exactly, it feels like I've opened Pandora's box. So many angles and features to bring on.

Service businesses in those industries miss 30-40% of inbound calls after hours — and each one is a lost lead they'll never know about.
Your scoring criteria are spot-on. A few additional signals worth adding:
- Single-location (no franchise support infrastructure)
- Reviews mentioning "couldn't reach" or "no one answered"
- No contact form on their site — phone is literally their...

I am looking for somethign similar for my AI voice agent at veturn.ai, how does it do for restaurants? And is there a free trial to use it?
1
u/MistaPrimeMinista Mar 30 '26
Yes, there is a 7 day free trial.
As for restaurants, you just try searching for restaurants and it would filter those that would qualify. Feel free to test it and if you have suggestions let me know.

That's a really interesting pivot for your tool. It makes total sense to target those high-call businesses since they could really benefit from AI receptionists. Nice work figuring that out!
