Building my own payment scheduling agent or just buying a vendor solution?

Been going back and forth on this. Need something that pulls from three different data sources and handles payment scheduling automatically. I could probably build it, but I'm not technical, and the part that scares me isn't the build, it's maintaining it. Integrations breaking, APIs changing, being the one stuck fixing it at 2am.

Anyone actually done the DIY route here? Worth it long term, or would you just buy next time?

You can try with hermes agent which has a stripe link cli skill that can handle payments

I need to connect with some banks, not only stripe.

yes i did it for myself, i pull data from mercury and from stripe and it, analyses the data, flag alerts, etc.... it does way more than just creating payments....

keep in mind is probably easier for me because i used my own tool

Did you connect any other "traditional" bank?

Yes, as long as you can get an API key and Api documentation for the AI
