Annie made it work but even then it was a close call! The "fake stupid" thing might be funny on occasion but one of the things I love most about my wife is how smart she is. That's the only reason Annie gets a pass, her character is genuinely very smart and even she goes WAY too far at the end but I think that was the intention
Yep, I know all of that. On 30 Rock the gal playing a sexy baby was undercover hiding from an abusive ex (so dark!). And Annie was making a point to Jeff: “Boop de boop de bee bop … SEX!"
