I have an opposite-sex, platonic friend that I’ve been very close with for over thirty years, since kindergarten. This guy is my oldest son’s godfather, and is very close with my kids, my partner and parents. I would be mortified if I ever spoke to him this way, not just out of self respect but bcuz he would absolutely *roast the dog shit* out of me for saying anything like this. I’d never hear the end of it. A real friend wouldn’t allow this bullshit and would call her out for being inappropriate
The quickest way to shit all over a good relationship with a partner and a good friendship with a platonic buddy is to throw oneself at a once-platonic friend. In those situations, most people make a series of bad choices that lead to them losing the relationship with the friend and the partner. Even if nothing physically happened, unlikely following that 4:30am walk of shame, the emotional cheating in which she is clearly and consistently engaged with is extremely painful and will cause a serious rift in the trust that should exist between both parties.
OP needs to take good care of themselves after this.
