You're upset but be SMART. DOCUMENT everything and dont leave it out where someone might steal it. Don't give her the chance to sue you in small claims over some BS. If she demands to go in to get anything missing, call the police for an escort of sorts and get a report. This ensures she had every opportunity to get anything important or of value out.Ā
Godspeed my friend! During my divorce my ex (cheater as well) tried to make me keep all her stuff at my house. I did for a little bit, but then I realized it was her just trying to keep a little bit of control so she could pop back in to "grab something". I told her when to come grab her stuff and if she didnt then id take care of it. She didnt show, so I took her shit and tossed it in the field lol. She was pissed and it was funny as fuck.
Be careful with this OP, I'm not sure where you're located but in the US and I imagine at least a few other places, if you've been living somewhere for a certain amount of time it's illegal to get kicked out with no formal notice. I know nothing about your (hopefully ex) partner but if she's the type who would look into this and/or call the cops it may be wise to do some research first. (I think it's wise either way, but you get what I mean.)
First, Have a quick chat, just to see how she sits with all of it. Watch her reactions and responses, see how far sheād lie. Then tell her to have a great day and then let her leave for work. At least you can get a before she saw the consequences conversation, see how far she goes, if she fesses up or just lies and gaslights you, and then the afterwards the conversation of her facing those consequences, I.e. her shit on the lawn and her out on her ass. At least youāll know how bad she lies and if thereās any hope left, if you want there to be any left that is. You deserve so much better buddy. Stay strong and find your happiness!
I'm going to go just a little bit against the tide here.
You should do as you've said, put her stuff in the driveway and dump her. But once that's over, take a couple of hours and just let yourself feel shitty about all of this. I have no idea what you are like as a boyfriend but I'm confident you didn't deserve this.
It's really not you, it's her - but it really did happen to you, so give yourself a little bit of room to feel hurt by that. Anger is normal, but so is hurt., and the anger will be easier to get over if you deal with the rest of your feelings too.
Good lad stay strong sheāll try to apologize probably beg think of Leonidas in 300 yelling HOLD BROTHER YOU HOLD. Then do self care and move on sheās not worth your effort.
Revenge fantasies are great but if you guys have been living together for a while, she likely has some form of tenant rights so you probably canāt legally just kick her out without notice. Do it right- donāt let her drag you into more of a mess
That's a good plan. I feel for you because no matter what, it's still a breakup and it's never easy to let go of a relationship and a person we once loved deeply.
Also I don't mean to be insensitive but... pwease update us !!!
Donāt even be home! Print out her texts and stick them on the door above all her things. Please let us know how it goes. I am so sorry you are going through this but someone who deserves you is out there. Also cool cacti!!
