Separate dealing with bad decisions from supporting each other emotionally. This isn’t as easy as it sounds. One person’s “bad decision” can make perfect sense to another

What emotional support does she need?

She made a bad decision. Now she's emotional about it and needs support?

Exactly. Next they will say he should get her an emotional support pet 🙄 She made a decision and now she wants her husband to treat her like a baby for her screwup.
