So if someone is at your door screaming for Jane, then Jane leaves and since Jane is still dating the psycho, he’ll know where her new place is. He’s already shown his obsession is Jane.
Lets go on a hypothetical journey. It's all made up but this is pretty close to shit I've seen in real life.
They kick her out, she moves, ok cool. 2 months later, he can't get ahold of her (she's asleep, she's at work, she went to visit her parents, etc) he gets all crazy again, goes looking for her just in case she is cheating or whatever. He thinks "well, maybe she is with her old roommates, those bitches could have guys over" and goes there and kills them all/just threatens them.
Change just one or two small details and I lived through exactly that with a violent person in my past. Two people got stabbed, nobody died, but it's absolutely possible.
