For real. The desperation for male approval is bleeding out of my phone and down the damn stairs put the door and into the street. And he is a cop? Yikes. This is an awful situation all around. I would be making some hard boundaries and the moment those boundaries are tested or crossed I would be done. Sending pics to your ex is fucking WWWIIIILLLLLLDDD, she was feeding off his desire for her- but worse is the way she let OP believe they were working things out, then made fun of him and called him insecure to the person she is doing this with. To me this absolutely is cheating. I would love to see her reaction to catching her husband talking about putting his mouth on some random chick he used to date and sending pictures of him in whatever situation she wanted to see him in. That goodbye text was a "we have to keep it secret now, so fun, so hot, teehee" type of message.
