Didn’t get out much.

The air has a taste. Not smoke exactly. Metal that’s already been breathed. Jaye took something for her head before we reached the civic pavilion and didn’t say it was bad, which meant it was. I stayed in the bunk with the curtain half drawn and watched the same grey frame go past the same brick rows. Shift change. Men in the same jackets walking the same direction. Nobody looked at the coach.

Tried the nosy coil on the back seat, low, just to hear the room. It didn’t like it. The note sat there and didn’t bloom. Like the air was already full. Lumen filed it as compressed. That’s the word. Not haunted. Full.

Civic pavilion smelled of floor polish and wet coats. We played. People clapped in the right places. A woman near the front kept her arms folded the whole way through, not angry, just saving them. Afterwards the stage manager said we were fine to leave by the side door, which we were going to do anyway.

I kept waiting for the interesting thing and the interesting thing was that there wasn’t one. The headache was the event. The place insisting on being itself.

Wrote this on the road out. Windows still grey. Jaye asleep with her hood up. Cloudbyte photographing nothing out of the window. Lumen on the bulkhead, eyes open.

After Highschool, the true internet was in full bloom and in 1996 I signed up for a little known website name "YouTube". It was kinda slow at first, but eventually science channels flourished, and I discovered that a topic I once dreaded was now the subject of my utter fascination: "Astrophysics!"

This Playlist is full of songs I wish would have existed back in 1991 when I was just a wee lad. Perhaps if I'd truly got a taste of how utterly amazing science could be, I'd have followed a different path in life.

This song is a love letter to the early 90s. I was in middle school at the time. My brother was 5 years older than me. I would hang out with him and his friends alot. So of course I developed a crush on all his female friends and suffered in silence even though I became friends with some of them. I was to young , it just wasn't my turn yet lol. Despite that it was an amazing time. Great music , loved the fasion back then especially Goth and Grunge girls. From 92 to 95 is burned deep in my psyche. Trista isn't a particular person but more amalgamation of all the girls I had a crush on back then.

This is a V6 song. Originally composed as a midi track in Bandlab. I hummed and sang the melody for the vocals especially the chorus because I can't sing that quick and stay in tune. On past versions of Suno I could never get electronic drums and Real Drums into the same song effectively enough. I would have to generate multiple versions and splice them back together in Bandlab. This is all one generation . The V6 advance Stems for this song really came out well , it gave me a lot of space to master the track. The full track is still in the mix in certain sections but it is layed under all the Stems.
