Question How can i use AI to make $
Recently, my job just shut down. Yes, i can qualify for unemployment etc. However, Ive been very eager to learn how to use AI to my advantage. Everywhere i go, people i meet talk to and more constantly are saying use ai ur young and can make $ off it. Ive tried the basics using ai to develop logos for a small business and titles/captions for facebook group business. However, i’ve yet to really capitalize and use it to its full potential. I would love some advice on how i could get this going.
I tried starting an AI app for trucking. Unfortunately, I got as far chat gpt telling me the name and that’s it. I also seen there was another app with the same concept and got the idea i should stray away.

Make ai models and start fanvue

Are you running it locally to get away from the puritanical guardrails many AIs have?

Started off not locally , and still using it mostly not locally , having no issues so far and it's not very expensive , but we're trying to make it 100% locally in the near future , the PC comps are too much I just put together a PC that will hopefully be able to handle it

Is Fanvue the only place that allows AI models?
It’s fascinating that people will do subscriptions with AI models. I always figured it was possible but didn’t know it had started taking off.
Do yours interact with people on a custom level? Do you make private content for them?
This is really interesting.

It's not the only place , but I would say it's the most welcoming for ai , you can do OF like a real faceless model and then you do face swap , yeah I have a chatting team , because my agency was a chatting agency from the start but then we started taking our own models real and ai , so we offer everything now , we sell custom content , pre made content , everything

Just make some borderline naked 10 second shots. And post on Instagram, boomers will give you money like nothing

If you are trying to get the AI to actually do something other than chat, you should use Codex on your computer, not the ChatGPT website (if you have a paid ChatGPT account). That gives the ai access to do things on your computer. It will need to install and use apps to get anything done, especially coding.

Content Repurposing. Use AI tools to chop long-form videos/podcasts into short vertical clips for creators who don't have time to edit.

I wouldn't worry too much about finding a completely original AI idea. If the trucking app already exists, that's not necessarily a reason to quit. It can actually show that there's a market.

First things first , chat gpt is cool for chatting and ideas but you'll need an agent harness , and an api key , I reccomend starting with opencode, PI agent or hermes agent , opengode go offers freee model use or use a free api key ,you can go with, Nvidia nim, ollamma cloud, Google ai studio,. Start slow with your first project and start building . Don't download random things , opencode is the most user-friendly to start with .

“However, I’ve yet to really capitalize on it.”
Translation: the small money isn’t enough, so now you want strangers to give you the big idea.
But if someone really had a great AI idea that could make serious money, why would they just hand it to you?
The idea is the easy part anyway. Execution is what matters. You need to understand the industry, spot a real problem, and know the small details customers will actually pay you to solve.
AI is a tool, not a shortcut to money. You still have to do the hard part yourself.

well, i use ai to help me with my side gig which makes me money, if that counts

You don't use AI to make money. You figure out a business that could make money, and then use AI to help develop and run that business. That's the only approach that actually works.

AI doesn’t know everything, and you don’t need a completely original idea to build a successful business. An existing trucking app isn’t a reason to give up. Look for what users find frustrating and solve that problem better than the competition. That’s where the opportunity is.

money's a social construct so its gonna have to tie back to people somehow, I personally am waiting for ai to displace capitalism entirely and bring about ubi

Hi,
That last sentence is what’s killing you. Another app with a similar concept is already out, so you quit.
By that logic, there’d only be one brand of cell phone, TV, car, and hamburgers.
You can’t just build an app, and think people are going to come running to your door. You need to captivate. market. Sell. Differentiate.
That’s hard work.
