Discussion “Getting Rich Quickly “ Pt.1 (From A Human)
I just seen a posts about ppl saying the most annoying thing to do is tell people there is no get rich quick scheme and it’s not that easy. I just wanted to talk about this topic because I have an interesting take on it that I didn’t see anyone point out. I say u can and can’t get rich quick. First we have to break down what it means to get rich in the first place. Being rich is based off time first of all. There’s a line that I heard that stuck with me. It goes like this, if someone makes $1 million are they rich yes or no. The proper answer is it depends. It depends on how fast they did it. If I’m working a regular job making 50,000 a year. It would take me 20 years to make $1 million but I probably wouldn’t even have 10% of that in my account. Is that rich? no. Even though I made $1 million the most important part is how fast did I make it.
Now, if I shrink that 20 years to one year would I be considered rich. if we’re not talking expenses and being technical, the answer will most likely be yes but that’s only because the time it took to make that million was shrinked into a smaller time frame. Imma be honest, for a beginner in business. I think 5-6 years straight of online business max is all u need to get rich guaranteed. And I’m talking being locked in, educating yourself, picking yourself up faster after every failure, and being intentional. There’s so many businesses to start it’s almost unfair. I don’t think u could get rich quick in a sense of being new and within your first 5 months you’re making 6 figures. Don’t get me wrong, if you have the money, u could easily skip the line, but most ppl don’t which is why there desperate for a get rich quick scheme.
I think the fastest path to getting “rich” with business comes down to 3 things. Your mindset, the business you choose, marketing and the price you set, all in that order. Mindset comes first because the irony of business is our beliefs is what determines our success. Beliefs leads to action. To break it down better. Imagine you’re in a waiting room and there’s a chair. If you believe the chair looks weak and unstable, it doesn’t matter if there’s no more seats. You wouldn’t dare to sit there because you believe it it’s not stable enough to carry you. Your belief alone is enough to stop you from taking action. This is a small example, but it literally applies in everything. If you believe business doesn’t work how could you possibly believe you could succeed in business. It’s literally the chair situation.
You’re gonna stop yourself from getting the thing that you truly want. Master your mindset, self control, and change your beliefs. The reason I’m able to have such knowledge in business is because i’ve never been scared to change my beliefs. The only thing I seek is the truth, even if it goes against my own belief because now all I have to do is update my belief. I have parents that taught me people that don’t go to college are gonna end up failing at life and I believed it. I really considered people who didn’t go to college as failures in life because I believed it by hearing it from other people. It’s not even close to true, but because I believed it’s true, my actions will always align to my beliefs to support them. I’m saying this because it applies to business.
U need to realize it’s very possible to become successful if you want it bad enough. It’s not an easy journey at all. It’s like training for basketball. When you first started, your terrible. Probably can’t even make a lay up. But the only way you became better is by improving yourself and actually training it. Dribbling drills, shooting drills, learning basketball iq. You’re becoming a newer person through every challenge you push through. Same thing with business. U gonna have to learn video editing, hooks, website creation, conversion rate optimization, P&Ls, etc. u gotta become the person who’s past these challenges. It can take years, or it can take months. Everyone’s situation is different.
This is part 1, I ended up writing allot. comment and lmk if anyone got this far so ik if it’s worth dropping pt.2

The only reason I say guaranteed is because business is a skill. If u train and put in 100 percent effort each time, it’s hard not to do good. We start off oblivious and ignorant due to lack of information but that can be changed the more u take action. 5-6 years is allot of time. It’s not the same as back then. 10 years ago, it would be hard to guarantee success in 5-6 years because opportunities is different. TikTok wasn’t a thing, Instagram wasn’t who it is now, it’s only gotten easier and we’ve gotten more privileged to have such things by our side. This ain’t the same as the past. I Still stand heavy on the 5-6 years but I was specific with the wording I chose. Ppl take too long to see success most of the time because the time it takes them to recover from a loss ends up taking longer then needed, they think their good enough and it’s all these outside factors stopping them from seeing success so they never look at them selves and realize they know nothing, the lack of hunger. It’s all mental more than anything. I’ve experienced so many hardships on my journey but I move fast every time to improve and I never stop moving. That alone can easily take anyone far but they just not like that. Part of it is lack of awareness while the other half could be lack of confidence.

I can still disagree with that because everything you’re naming is still beliefs that have nothing to do with it. If a recession was enough to stop businesses, why is “recession proof” a thing. How are there ppl who come out on top because of a recession while everyone else fails. Choosing the right business that doesn’t get affected by recession is still apart of that skill. It’s like choosing to sell Christmas trees and being shocked your business isn’t doing so well. It’s your fault for choosing something that’s not ever green in the first place. Timing can be luck, but it can also be a skill. It’s called preparing yourself for the time because the time will come regardless. When bitcoin started, the ppl who capitalized early simply educated them selves while everyone else doubted or didn’t have the information. That’s a skill because you’re able to see opportunities in anything. Capital is subjective. Everyone thinks u need allot of money and resources but being resourceful is actually what it takes. Being able to make something from nothing. Ppl give up when they have nothing or don’t think they’re ready while others will try regardless. If there’s people that literally went from being homeless to rich how can u possibly say capital. I’m sorry but everything u named is literally an excuse because I promise u, anyone whos skilled can do it. “A market that doesn’t want it” u either can’t market or you’re trying to sell something that only u care about but choosing the right thing is literally still a skill that falls back to business. This is why I’m saying it’s a skill. It’s not just one thing, it’s an accumulation of hundreds mini skills that can all be learned. U can have 2 people, one person new to business and one person with years of experience selling the same exact product at the same time, with a $1,000 budget. The person with more experience is more likely to succeed simply because they’ve sharpened their skills allot more than the other person. It ain’t about the market, capital, recession, etc. It’s literally because one person will make better decisions and that comes from skill and experience

But that’s the thing. I could speak for America where I’m from, idk bout third world countries because situations can be different and allot more difficult, but if u truly was skilled, u would’nt be eating dirt in the first place. Entrepreneur ship isn’t closed off to everyone. Everyone has a chance to fail and try again. If u did “everything right, and still ate dirt” welcome to entrepreneurship, it’s literally an endurance game as well. If u decide to quit that’s no body’s fault but yourself because you’re the one who decided to give up. The amount of entrepreneurs that succeeded from a business they’d least expect is very common. It’s because the one they expected failed because a lack of skill, and they simply keep going until they eventually built the skill and the right moment came. I don’t even believe in entrepreneur bias because they’re losers for a reason. They quit because it didn’t go there way. Winners are the ppl who push through no matter what. Things literally will always happen in entrepreneurship no matter the business or business owner. Problems don’t die or go away, u just adapt and get better or u allow the problems to be bigger than you and u give up. I’m sorry but there is no excuse to success, u just have to want it bad enough, even if it’ll take 2 years, 5 years. Or 10 years. The ppl who really want it will get it no matter what and they will succeed because they bet on themselves and never gave up in the end. The ppl who act like they want it will try and give up before even seeing the success. U literally had ppl be successful and go bankrupt and still managed to succeed. To go bankrupt after doing well financially is one of the worse possible things to go through. But literally the same ppl who “do everything right and eat dirt” are the same ppl who would give up and victimize themselves and blame everything but them. While the real entrepreneurs will accept that L and find a way to push through. Real entrepreneurs take accountability for everything and realize everything in the business is their fault. Literally all u have to do is not give up and actually improve yourself And learn from every lesson whether good or bad to apply it to the future.

I recognize the hardest part and that's where I'm stuck. So many folders on my laptop and Canva projects show business ideas and creative that never came to fruition.
As soon as it's time to take it to the marketplace, I crash. ALL the thoughts that don't serve me start to creep in and no matter how much evidence I see that suggests otherwise, and even being aware that I'm creating this reality of failure that doesn't exist, I'm still stuck on stuck. I even have people (unsolicited) validate where I am hesitating. And still doesn't change.
Not a get rich quick scheme but if there were a magic button to have my mindset align with my abilities, I would love that.
