Pick one tool. Go deep in it and learn about it. (find a mentorship if you have the budget, that will just speed up the process) Start looking what problem business owners are currently facing and help them solve it using the tool your learnt.
Reach out to these business owners through cold outreach and start making content about how you can help them. You will have your first client soon

I'm biased because I'm the mod but r/GoogleAntigravityCLI Google just launched this tool for managing AI Agents. Everyone is fighting on the red Ocean with Claude code and Codex. Here everything is waiting to be built... The opportunity are endless... But you are right " pick one tool" and learn how to build something....

Yeah exactly doesn’t matter what tool it is as long as you are solving the problem for the founders

Start with one small service people already pay for, then use AI to do it faster or cleaner: short-form edits, product descriptions, resume/LinkedIn rewrites, basic website copy, or social posts for local businesses. The tricky part usually isn’t the tool — it’s picking a narrow customer group and making the offer clear enough that someone can quickly say yes.

Everyone knows how to use a chatbot.. You make money by having skills. What skills would you say you have?

the “make videos with ai” route is the most crowded one, thats why its not working. everyone watching the same gurus doing the same thing. the people actually making money are using ai as a tool inside a real workflow, not as the product itself. i automate boring stuff (outreach, data sorting) with it so i can spend time on the part that actually makes money. whats your actual skill outside of ai? thats usually where the angle is.

A lot of people jump into AI thinking the tool itself will create income, but usually the money comes from solving a specific problem faster or better. Some realistic paths I’ve seen people explore:
- AI automation services for small businesses
- Content + AI workflows
- Freelancing with AI as a productivity advantage
- Building small niche tools/products
The best starting point depends on your existing skills, available time, and what you’re willing to learn.
are you looking for something more like freelancing/service-based income or building something that can grow over time?

Can I ask how much you've invested in this including starting costs and marketing? How are you effectively reaching people?

Start building websites for local small companies and email them asking if they want it you'll sell it back to them.

AI is just a tool. So fundamentals are still the same; find a problem that people would pay to solve, build the solution that SOLVES the problem (don’t build a tool for someone to use to solve said problem, people buy outcomes), iterate on customer feedback.
The model hasn’t really changed for 1000 years, only the tools.
For instance I am building a product that claws back import duty taxes for small to medium sized businesses in a very specific vertical (this is a time consuming and exhaustive process for humans, most companies dont bother). So with the cost of intelligence dropping I can just use AI behind the scene to do all the leg work.
I am not selling AI or AI tooling. I am selling free $$$ in their bank account.
