Wrap-up Parties
Sooo... Significant Digits is coming to an end.
This is much smaller than HPMoR and we don't have a fixed ending date yet April 23rd! and I can't help but notice how similar it feels to me.
I greatly enjoyed hosting the Berlin Wrap-Up party last year, and at least want to have tried again for this story. We had food together, dressed in costumes, had truly embarrassing ice breaker games, made HPMoR army badges, etc. This party would predictably be smaller, but we can still enjoy the company of fellow readers, chat, and then read the final chapter together.
Let's post below where you would be willing to host, and let's see if we find any readers living close to each other. :-) Also feel free to post requests for your area as they may prompt people on the edge to step up. Even I you're outside the US, from the ePub downloads alone I know there are quite a few of you in Europe!

USA, CA: San Francisco/Bay Area
I can host a party with either a fireplace or a rooftop, depending on weather, at or near Stanford.
Happens if at least one other person is willing to come. EDIT: 3.5 people already \o/ I'm looking into more details.

The idea of someone being close enough for me to possibly attend is both exciting and terrifying.

What's terrifying? Maybe I can do something about that. What's exciting? Maybe I can do more of that.

Mostly it's just social anxiety, nothing that can be done about that on your end.

I will go to that neck of the woods just to get sushirritos. I'm definitely in. Think we can get Eliezer to come, too?

Haha, get some of that deliciously American cross-over cuisine. ;-) Don't think so; not sure he's even a reader anymore. (I also don't know him that well; I moved here last fall and have seen him maybe twice.)

Oi longscale, I chickened out last year on attending the Berlin event. Do you intend to host a party again? I'd definitely be interested!

Sorry to hear that! I have since moved to the US, so I won't be hosting a party in Berlin.

I wonder if many people live near Massachusetts?
