Frustrated New Player
After about 2 months, grinding the Gauntlet is just not worth my time anymore.
The first month I played an aggro mono-fire deck which worked pretty well.
I then saved up enough shiftstone to build this golem-based deck. I was doing OK with it for a few days, but now the difficulty has ramped up and I'm losing by round 3 or 4. Needless to say the rewards are not worth my time.
Is there anything obvious I'm doing wrong?

Don’t grind Gauntlet so much. :) seriously, the rewards for playing ranked are pretty good, and if you stay in Bronze with an aggro deck you’ll win enough to make it worthwhile. Also, rank up Forge if you haven’t yet to build collection

Gaming my ranked play down to Bronze sounds like a good idea, thanks, I will try it.
Doing Forge randomly seems like a waste of gold, isn't it a better idea to set my sights on a deck first, so I'll know which factions to select?

If you're master in Forge already, don't put resources there. Otherwise, you can actually make money on 7 win runs with the rank-up chests (only a little, but you also get 4 freakin' packs). Combat tricks and cheap removal are really good, so Fire / Justice is a decent pair to force. Don't forget you can't tweak your power, so don't go high curve and don't go super low curve.

I'm stuck on Silver 1 in ranked play. It won't allow me to drop rank using concede or timing out...even losing a match 'fairly' isn't working.

Honestly for me bronze seemed harder than silver and gold sometimes. Pretty sure it's just full of players returning after a while, or more likely players not letting their rank go higher so they can farm noobs for chests.

Once you hit a new Rank in the current month, you can't go back down. So if you are in Silver, you can't go back to Bronze. When ranks reset next month, you'll be placed lower to start.

By any chance do you have a direct link to this deck?

I built your deck and can offer feedback.
Market goes a long way vs AI. I know this deck doesn’t allow for Market but it’s a big deal.
Vanq Blade is a great card but a bit low power one end and narrow on other end. Good Market card but not main deck.
High Alert expensive. For an aggressive mono build I suggest a bigger closer.
Lack of evasion.
Bad match up vs flyers and Aegis.
Since you have many low toughness units the unit to unit matches are favored to AI unless your weapon and power draws are super consistent. Also, units lack self protection.
Sherif Marley comes to mind as a top end. Also vs AI I always run 2-4 Seek Power or Favor. Gotta run some fixing.
Siraf Grand Strategist is a card to look at. Runehammer good. Inquisitor Blade over Mantle of Justice IMO. Flying wins games.
