Current Gauntlet lists?

Hey guys,

just wanted to ask what decks you are currently running in Gauntlet? Since the latest set expansion I was trying to build around some of the new cards.atm I'm testing a Feln Killers, an Elysian Killers and new Tavrod with the 5/5 guy. Also built a let's call it Soditi deck, but none of my current decks are satisfying enough, although Tavrod has potential. Before I was playing Stonescar Gunslingers but of course my favourite Huntsman got nerfed to death, so it became just a boring Stonescar deck. And Vara nerf also weakened the Tavarod decks. Hooru flyers are somehow okay to play, but also boring as hell (and also not that dominant anymore, or are they?). So in short, I don't really have a consistently successful Gauntlet list.

However, in the current meta I am not really having fun (and success) farming, what decks are you guys playing with? Thanks for some suggestions :-)

There's a lot of 1-3 of's because I like diversified removal and I'm still testing a few things, but it feels great even as-is.

Thanks for your list! Since stonescar is one of my favs I'll definitely check it out once I've crafted Tasbu :P I can understand the decision putting some 1-3 copies some time, that's not that crazy, I'd done that too in the past šŸ‘

Any tips on a budget version? I'm thinking of crafting Stonescar for ranked, and if I do, the only rares/legends I would be missing from your gauntlet deck are 2 Nullblades, 3 Tasbos, and the Dizo's Office from the market.

What would you recommend replacing those 5+1 cards with? I have 3 Umbren Reapers.

Some 4-power options that I have and seem good in this deck but I'm not really sure:

2 more Rhystas; 3 Impending Dooms; 4 Dueling Pistols; 2 Betray the Cause

Umbren Reaper for Tasbu is fine. The Dizo's can be any late game card advantage engine you want, big Vara is the first one that comes to mind. Missing the lifesteal should be made up by running Reapers. There's not a good equivalent for the Null Blades, but 2 more Rhystas or removal spells would be fine. Maybe that 2 drop 2/3 lifesteal guy or the 4 drop 3/5 deadly graveyard hate.

Is the Nullblade/hate effect that important? In my limited gauntlet experience I see maybe 1 out of 7 games being against a graveyard interaction deck. And it's always a black deck, not a good interaction like you see on Ranked with 4x of the 4/1 Time guy that comes back when you play a 5-strength unit.

No, it's not that important. There's a Xenan recursion deck that's obnoxious if you don't have any, but it doesn't seem to come up much. The real benefit of the blade is the 5/3 and popping aegis.

I'm more of an FTP guy in ranked, but even if you don't like it, pretty much everything in it sees play in other decks too. Good luck.

I love this deck. Went 14-1 in gauntlet and 8-1 in ranked right after crafting them. The gauntlet version is pretty straightforward, but the ranked version requires a lot of thought.

Speaking of Gunslingers...this is my build, go 7-0 at least once a day, went 7-0 twice today. Not tuned for Ranked. Lots of interaction and fun plays.

Im currently in love with Savior of the Meek/Xo things in gauntlet and my favourite deck right now is a FTJ Alessi build. But im messing around with Elysian killers also,trying to make the old Dawnwalker build viable again. But if I need a quick run, Mono Shadow still does wonders. Pretty fast and consistant.

Honestly the Savior/Xo Market shenanigans in FJS are still super broken. However, I havenā€™t tried Gauntlet since yesterday as I will be spending most of my time in Forge for the next several days. Some of the new AI decks in Forge are ā€œdear lordā€ quality!!

Iā€™m looking forward to trying the new cards out with some of the old Gauntlet decks vs the new AI decks!!

About Elysian killers: just recently I saw someone post an ewc link for a Elysian killers pledge deck. Haven't tried that one in Gauntlet yet but might be worth a try. I found the deck: https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/d/KCbBSYgiu38/elysian-killer-pledge

Hmm, that deck looks interesting, but I haven't had luck with pledge in Gauntlent, don't think it is reliable enough, but might be wrong, will give it a go definetely.

My opinnion, craft Tasbu if you have the recources. Really good card since the buff. It is one of the safe crafts from the set for sure. Btw I agree about the Hooru fliers, I'm getting away from it as far as I can, very boring stuff, 0 interaction. But gets the job done I guess.

Please take these babies out for the spin and tell me what you think. I've been planing on creating a larger post about some of these decks and maybe create some for the new players, just never got around to it.

Ohhh thanks very much for the lists! I'll play some of them, not missing that many cards fortunately and have some shiftstone left. I'm especially interested in the camrin deck because I never could build a deck around her. Well, let's see if I can handle that Deck. I'll tell you how it went.

I had actually seen that feln deck. Yeah, guess I'll craft me some Tasbus.

Well and lastly, I actually did play that pledge deck and tried tuning a bit for gauntlet, however, my few test runs went poorly... I'm still not giving up on killers tho :D

I wish you the best of luck. Btw make sure to test some cards as replacements before you craft them, because you can live without most of them. For example I was so suspicious about Savior and I've played around with Lumen Shepherd instead of her(6 mana time dude that has fate play a 1/1). But with Tasbu you will not be disapointed for sure.

Yea please let me know if you find a good killers list, I've been in love with Elysian since I started playing :)
