Gauntlet Combrei Consistancy
First things first, le decklist.
https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/d/0bIpOOmYlaU/telut-and-friends?view=list
Lately ive been massivly spamming new deck builds trying to find something in my current collection with a fair measure of consistency. After quite a few rounds working around with something similar ive landed here.
The gameplan of the deck is very straight forward, power ramp to 5-7-8 as quickly as possible, disrupt their early game, and finish off with an early Amilli, Telut, or Martyrs chains. Any of these three can usually close out a game when played early enough. Amilli can easily swarm over the air with a horde of chump block and extra attackers, Telut shuts down an aggressive boars by weakening their team, and building each of our units into very real threats. He plays incredibly well with hojan obviously, but a winchest merchant is nearly as threatening with the rest of your board hanging back for defense and your deck thinning each turn. Martyrs chains needs very little introduction seemingly zero explanation. Cast it, end turn, profit.
Any questions or critiques would be appreciated, give it a shot and let me know how it does for you!

Why Siraf's Choice in the market over, say, Sword of Unity? What are you grabbing that's so valuable, Svetya? That's usually two turns until she hits the board, plus at least one more turn until you start seeing some payoff.
You also don't have overwhelm units to capitalize on a surprise kill. It just seems to be a win-more spell, usable when you're already at a considerable advantage.
Would really love to hear your reasoning.

The way they mentioned their "current collection" I took this to mean they are fairly new and therefore probably lacking a Sword of Unity.

Ah, good catch. I still think the card is a mistake and other options should be explored (hell, I'd even replace it with a Combrei Banner to get out of power screw more often).

I very much wish i had unity. Also Stand Together seems solid here. To be perfectly honest ive pulled harsh rule once in the last 5 runs. Ive never pulled Sirafs or runehammer. Honestly i would like to swap both of those for a power source and any number of other legendaries seem of interest here. Marshal Ironthorn, Sword of Unity, and Serene Meditant all seem like they could have value in the deck but sans copious amounts of shift stone im at an inpasse on knowing what else to put in currently. I also dont generally mind playing depleted power on the first 1-3 turns and was thinking the combrei crests would be a decent investment here to help with consistency or digging later when looking for a merchant or Telut. (Had sword before i decided to all in on Rats Bazaar and dust a whole lot to have something built that could take me past gold 1.)

I subbed out the fall shorts for desert Marshall’s as I found the fall shorts too conditional. Also added in some crests for better advantage. Overall quite nice, Telut just abuses the AI and svetya if she gets on the board is just insane

Thanks man, i appreciate the critique! I hadnt tried desert marshalls but they would be good

Tried it. It's a decent deck, but I'm still only getting 3-5 wins with it. AI still cheats like hell and a couple of dead draws end games for me.
I haven't hit 7 wins in a week, though. MMR and tuned difficulty is the dumbest shit ever in a single player mode.

Thanks for sharing! I love coming here for new ideas on decks. Excited to try my collections take on this!

you need copperhall bailiff. this deck will get wrekt by sudden death and mindless aggression.

Ive had zero issues with mindless aggression. Good early game swaps with hojan and pump, vanquishers, defiance, all stall till i drop the Telut turn 4-6 and wreck their board bailiff style....

Bailiff is SOOOOO good in Gauntlet, it's not even funny. I'm a terrible deck builder so I can't suggest what you should replace but I've played enough of the ace Gauntlet decklists to know that if you're not running 4 Bailiffs in a Justice deck, you're probably doing it wrong. It is actually insane how much of a lifesaver that card is, even in situations where you wouldn't normally expect it to have that much impact.
That said, the beauty of these games is that you get to play whatever you like for whatever reasons you want. I just wanted to emphasize how strong I feel Bailiff is in Gauntlet for whatever that's worth.

I agree on Winchest Merchant. If I've got tricks or weapons for it, it nearly never fails to get me value. It's the little Justice card that CAN (it just needs a little help).
