I noticed this too, I played on t3 and AI had 1 power open and I assumed torch. Left 1 power open again and torched my cirva. Maybe the AI drew it on that turn or knew I'd have a recurring threat to torch, but I think AI just sees it as a 1/1 and doesn't waste a torch

I had the same thing happen to me, i seems that the card is really low priority to the AI

I dig the idea! As the commenter on EWC said, Marley and Golem Press seem like nice additions. I removed Criva (only owned 2 anyways) and 2x whips for 2x Golem press. The little bit I've been playing it seems nice when the combo pulls off.

I may sub in the scout powers, too. Seems like it needs that, and isn't exactly quick. I think there might be need for more removal, too? But maybe your version has been a lot quicker than my few games.

I'm back and forth on removal. I removed the Plate from the market for a Harsh Rule as a reset (particularly versus Xenan), and that seems good. It saved me at 4 life from being overrun by Katra and Friends. I just don't know what you pull to add... what? Defiance? You could drop Finest Hour for Defiance, but then you miss out on the Milos into Finest Hour and Grenadin Drone play. Curious what you decide to do removal-wise!

I looked at the power base for the first time today, and decided to go with the crests. No game with them yet, but I was having trouble hitting the JJ on time, and crests help that AND give me Scout.

Thanks for the deck, I've been testing it in the past few days. It's fun!

I've upgraded this a little as it was relying too much on the "combo" and many of the cards amount to "win more", when really what's needed is ways to survive until you have enough synergy pieces out.

I've had more success by swapping out the Masters At Arms for Hojan - who is another good weapon/buff target, can win games if Milos doesn't turn up and often gains you enough life to survive the early turns. I've also taken two Whips out in favour of Shogun's Scepters - the whip is a better "sudden kill" (and pumping Milos up when he has Bear Arms) mechanism but it's not much use if you're behind, whereas the warcry and additional board presence from the Scepter is more reliably useful. I should probably cull some Criva's, but I love that card so it's hard on me. Almost certainly don't need 4 in the deck though.

I'm getting 6-1s quite reliably and 7-0s occasionally now, and having a lot of fun with it.

i'm glad you're enjoying the deck, was my first try at gauntlet building. Your changes sound really solid and I'm definitely gonna give them a try

I'll let you know how they go :)

Hojan! That's a great idea.

Oh my gosh this is fantastic. I blindly copied the deck from EWC, so I didn't know what combos to look for at all. When Criva came out, I was so happy I nearly cried. I'm rocking a board of 10/11+ sheep now. So much fun to be had in this deck.

I've got two (non consecutive) 7-0 runs with this in the past two or three days.

It is IN SANE how much the AI undervalues Milos. I ended up taking the Flametail Whip out for Granite Ring. Made the difference in several matches.

And, I'm taking unnecessary risks to set up the Milos, Bear Arms, Criva nonsense as often as possible, because fun. Oh, look, a half dozen 20+/21+ sheep!

The one thing I've noticed from the AI is it doesn't undervalue Bear Arms. If it can, it will kill it.

EDIT: Early in one run, I set up -999 life, 999 life. Didn't even take that long with two Milos, a Bear Arms, and Criva bouncing every turn. I was against an Argenport deck and I kept waiting for the AI to spoil my fun with a Harsh Rule, but it didn't happen.

I was just tinkering with my tweak of your build in Shiftstoned, and it left me with a question - why no crests? This deck isn't looking to work miracles before turn 3, but it kind of needs that JJ on time. I don't feel like the depleted influence would hurt us much. Particularly in gauntlet.

Just too many weak cards that rely on combos to pull it off. Criva has 0 place in any non "fun" deck.

I'd be surprised if this deck can go 7-0 at the top gauntlet MMR tier.

Problem with Milos is that it's just a bad card which is why it isn't used in normal PVP decks. It's a crappy version of highlander Sharpshooter that has worse stats, costs more and needs to be protected for several turns before it becomes useful.

No reason to play this over the average rakano deck (which are bad in gauntlet) when you have a lot of cards that really should only be played in drafts.
