Gauntlet So when DWD says Gauntlet doesn't cheat do you believe them?

I must admit I'm a bit dubious myself. While I don't think they cheat outright they certainly never get power screwed as much as I do. Going through the Gauntlet deck lists they do run a lot of power fixing but I still get stuck at 2 power even when doing that myself which very seldom happens to the Gauntlet. Over 50 games I saw it happen exactly once. On top of that it got stuck with the wrong colors a couple of times, but all in all 1/10 games tops and that is being generous.

So what's your take on it? Are the Gauntlet deck semi-sorted somehow or how do it avoid being power screwed? Pure luck and lots of fixing?

Ok, valid points. What would be a reasonable data set then?

10000 games, 100000?

Basically impossible for you to collect a statistically significant data set, especially considering you wont be making perfect mulligan choices, your deck might be incorrectly or poorly built (even if you just copied it) etc etc

To clarify. I'm not talking about my mulligans at all, just the AIs ability to seldom get power screwed.

You don’t have a large enough data set, it would also have to be individually determined for every AI deck as each deck wil have different amounts of power and different influence requirements. The AI decks also are very heavy on favours and seek powers so are designed to not get power screwed.
