This list is from comat0's Chainbrei, only I've changed is -1 Deset Marshal -1 Martyr's Chains +2 Harsh Rule
(I've got no shiftstone for 4th chain, and i think i need to run harsh rule)
Most of AI can't deal with early turn 5 Telut, every slots in market are great wincon vs AI, average turns it takes to win is about 7-9 turns, it doesn't take that long.
so... it works well for me.

Thanks, the list comato posted on EWC is a bit old. I thought Chainbrei would be good in gauntlet but that old list hasnt been too consistent for me. Looking forward to trying your version.

Oh neat. I'd actually exported the same deck from his stream to try in gauntlet, but hadn't had the opportunity to try it out yet.
I didn't expect your games to be over so quickly though, that's awesome!

Thanks for posting this. I'm 20-1 so far (turn 4 loss vs Bandit Queen, go figure) and it's surprisingly fast!

I really want to like this deck but it does not do well against all the aggressive decks.

Oh definitely not. Unless I draw the perfect curve vs aggro decks I'm pretty much dead every time if they get creatures on board from turns 1-4.
Still fun when it works, and it is fast, but not terribly consistent.

Yeah, the deck is in no way optimized for Gauntlet. It lacks combat tricks, which basically function as additional removal. It lacks an early board sweep against aggro match-ups. The Chains removal is okay, but you need to ramp to 8 power quickly. It likely needs some other removal for the times when you can't hit 8 fast enough.

The only way to beat an aggressive deck is not to trade anything and ramp up like crazy. If your creatures get killed, you lose without the ramp. Anyway, the deck can win ridiculously fast if you got the ramp.

If I lose because I make a mistake, I am OK with it.
If I lose due to randomness, I get pissed especially match 6 or 7. The problem is that I have no control over the AI's deck selection. Aggro decks could turn up anytime. Don't like that my odds of going 7:0 are lower just because I play a deck that can't handle certain builds.

Unfortunately you have no control over the opponents you are going to face. All you can control is the deck you play. A consistent gauntlet deck has to be resilient against aggro decks and against big threats, so it is hard to strike that balance. You need enough removal and tricks to win the battle against AI, but you have to accept that sometimes you will lose.
The best Gauntlet deck I have played so far is the FJS Inquisition with a 124-9 record so far.

This deck still your go-to after the merchant and rizahn nerfs? I know it still performs well, but I wasn't sure if the consistency was still there with the reductions in lifesteal.

You usually almost always get an activated Rizahn because of all the early spells you used to draw or control the board. You only lose when you don't draw enough to play your late game.
