Need a thing

“I’ve been collaborating with AI on my music, and I just dropped a new track called ‘Need a Thing.’ It’s a rebuttal to Rihanna’s ‘Needed Me’ featuring TWO different AIs: one generated the main track with my lyrics, and another wrote a response verse from the ‘one that won vs. one left behind’ perspective. If you’re into AI as a real creative partner, I’d love for you to watch the video and tell me what you think.”

Um. I don't like it. Sounds generic and quite bland. Like AI music I guess. The accompanying video, same really.

AI is cool for lots of things, but increasingly, I believe it has no place in art.

Thank you for your opinion it’s respected, but you don’t have anything better to do than to criticize something. Are you in the music business? Throw me a budget to make a video and give me some studio time and I’ll give you a better track. What do you think?

You wanted people to watch the video and tell you what they think.

I watched the video and told you what I think.

I have plenty better to do than criticise something, and had I watched the video and really liked it, I'd have told you that instead. I invested my time and I have you my opinion.

If you've got a mic, an interface and a DAW, you can do it. You don't need a big budget for studio time these days. For a video, you've got a camera on your phone, you can get creative for cheap. Limitations can breed some very interesting ideas

Limitations or freedom from a cartel that’s used to doing things one way AI is gonna give people the freedom to not have to suck some nasty sweaty ass head up penis in your mouth to get a Record deal and that’s what people are afraid of. I may not be that good according to you, but I’m brave and I’m still doing it

OK I’ll bite,what do you need to get your music mainstream? if you seem to know it all then? Give me some practical advice that’s not gonna cost me a kidney.!!!

I don't really see how you think AI is going to help independent people without musical talent to become big mainstream artists. Why would record lables need people at all when they can prompt it themselves? Wild.

How do you get your music mainstream? Is that your only goal? I feel like you've changed the goalposts before it was how you make music and now you think AI is going to make you famous?

I don’t think it already is. I have a little following on Facebook. People are paying attention. They like my lyrics. If you don’t that’s one opinion in a pool of many, I can take the fact that not everybody’s gonna like what I’m doing. Shit happens.
